Encouragement here! Have a 29 year old that I homeschooled most of the way. His ACT score was 33. He skipped most of college, and for him it was right. He is in IT in a hospital and has worked since he was 17. Relax... curricula is good and needed, but keep in mind learning is ongoing, for life. People gave me stuff, and I used what he needed. Have fun!
  • Surround yourself with positive people, and it is God's opinion that matters!!!! SO true!!! :)

I am seriously thinking about homeschooling! I'm just fed up with public school and my oldest is only in the second grade šŸ˜³ I feel like it's just going to get worse! They've already taken God out of everything! Thanks for the video, you hit on some very good points and I will definitely be looking further into this. I just want my boys to be smart, decent humans!
  • Thank you so much for this video!. I am struggling to Homeschool my children. I feel overwhelmed and think that I am messing things up but this encouraged me. Thank you.

We homeschooled for 12 years, and the kids are off to college and doing well. I really wish we had found Classical Conversations from the beginning. We found it in middle school and high school. I was worn out through the elementary years be re-inventing the wheel every year! I also wish we had SLOWED DOWN to enjoy it more. The days are long, but the years are short.

My hubs finally gave me his blessing last night so Iā€™m doing all the research I can right now! We plan to start homeschooling next school year bc as of right now the kids are very happy in school. They love their teachers so I donā€™t want to remove them from a positive situation. I have been picking everyoneā€™s brains and this video is so helpful!!! Thank you!!! ā¤ļø

Wife and I are considering relocating back to my home county (Moldova) after we pay off her federal student loans, and build a home in my village (expected cost about $50k), and then homeschool. Currently looking at curriculums. The only down side is that no one home schools in my village or near by city but we intend to! So much flexibility and focus on discipleship. Canā€™t wait to get going on it!
  • Love this! I wish I understood that homeschooling is really about discipleship. We are in our 6th year, & Iā€™ve learned a lot from you along the way. Thank you for sharing your journey.ā¤ļø
  • I started homeschooling today for the first time šŸ˜¬I have a 4 & 2 year old boys. My mom canā€™t get her head around it, them not going to ā€œschoolā€ . It was a bit frustrating at the beginning of the day (the reading part) but once we got to the arts and crafts it was great! I need to relax more. I feel like my kids sense when Iā€™m frustrated, I know they wonā€™t learn how to read in one day or weeks lol but hopefully i will get the hang of it soon ! Thx for the video šŸ˜˜
