  • The Eagles helped bridge the separation between Rock and Country Music. I was always impressed by them. Such amazing talent!!!

Was fortunate to become friends with Glenn during the mid to late 80's. Have many fond memories of having lunch at my club with him and introducing him to many bands he was not familiar with. Just a sweet and lovely guy. RIP my friend.

  • Glenn was a genius. He really understood the entire musical picture when many did not. It was his decisions that helped secure Eagles as the greatest selling band in American history and one of the top three greatest selling bands of all time worldwide! There will never be another and I miss his wise words so much.
  • Glenn was one of the sexiest men in rock music and a great musician. Miss him terribly.😞
  • I graduated Royal Oak, Dondero High School 1976. Saw a Bob Seger all around Detroit area. The street outside high school has been renamed Glenn Frey Blvd. A great time to grow up in the Detroit area.

I met Glenn Frey at Pebble Beach Golf Course back in 1997 and he signed my Laserdisc cover of Eagles “Hell Freezes Over” I had if professionally framed and it remains one of my favorite pieces of Rock n Roll memorabilia. Glenn was a complete gentleman and could not have been any nicer when I visited with him. RIP GF 🙏

Desperado is my favorite Eagles album, and inspired me to learn how to play the guitar myself. I can still play every song on that album by heart.

  • As some one who suffers with Lupus and autoimmune diseases I want to tell Glenn to please …but I can’t, can I? Just RIP. But we got to see the Eagles in person (I had promised my daughter that if they go back together we would go anywhere in the country). My daughter Jamie at 4 years old knew every word to “Hotel California”. Thank you Eagles for giving me some of the happiest moments of my life.
  • Thanks so much for this, I have loved the Eagles for many years and the loss of Glenn was a great shock and seemingly the end of what was one of the world's greatest bands. Hopefully the other members may carry on, but Glenn was such a fixture in the line-up. RIP Glenn.
  • Very good video, thank you. Good music never ages, as a good player like Glenn Frey will continue to live within many hearts ❤
