Cycling the Weerribben National Park

Published 2016-09-24
Another bike ride from the back of the cycling atlas (which we are not following slavishly this time), using the numbered junctions on the national cycle network. This ride straddles the provinces of Overijssel and Friesland. The highlights are the wetlands and waterways of the Weerribben National Park. The start/finish point has been chosen for its convenience; plenty of car parking and tourist information adjacent to the village green, and a couple of handy cafés. I loved this ride, though we did have particularly pleasant weather. So much to wonder at along the way.
