I spent lots of time on the first sketch, and much less time for the second one. Which one turned out better?

The first one was more of a real look but the second one was more of a cartoon type

I love your work. Watching you draw before I start my day helps me be more peaceful. Would you consider drawing and painting Japanese gardens?
  • @JermLikes2Draw

Both winners - different techniques - beautiful! Thank you for your videos. Very inspiring
  • Jilly - bit of a 'long-shot' but you mentioned that you're open to suggestions for future Tutorials etc, i have 2 that i'd personally love to watch you Paint! 1. The Bath House - from the Anime Film 'Spirited Away', its beautiful and i think you'd make a beautiful version. 2. Brighton Pavillion is a beautiful Architectural Building that i also feel only you could Paint! Regards from London, England. Thanks in advance for your consideration 😘

One is not better than the other. While I generally sketch first then paint, I Love them both! Very lovely ☺
  • I want to sketch and found your videos . Your sketches and paints are very beautiful and I like your style. At the first time Iβ€˜d prefar your second picture, but at least both are very great and itβ€˜s a nice idea. Many thanks to show your sketching on here 😊❀

Jill, for me personally, I always enjoy your architectural subjects, quaint shops, but I think I would like to see food subjects as well. I love this painting today and thanks for making these serene and calming videos with that music, love the music. the above comment was made before the end and I have to say I kind of like the second approach the best. They both are great in a different way but I like the loose look
  • @davidbunce7781

I love buildings also that’s what drew me to your channel. But I think it would be great to step out of your comfort zone and go wild
