I run my Holosun 507C-GR V2 right over the center, (my LLV is the 4 1/2"). In a typical day on my range, I fire between 500 to 800 rounds, I'll actually do half the day with optics and the other half with my irons. I like staying fresh on both.

I have an astigmatism in both eyes after 17 years of perfect post-LASIK vision. I’m fully on iron sights and run your fiber front and adjustable rear on both my 6” Scorpion and 4.5” Mamba-TF (do we still call it that?). I’m tuned in and fast with both, but it just amazes me how much more dialed in I get with that additional 1.5” sight radius on the Scorpion. I thought I’d move away from it and shoot it less after I bought the Mamba, which is naturally more maneuverable, but I still find myself favoring the Scorpion. Unless dual wielding, of course. Appreciate the comprehensive beginners video though. Good stuff for new shooters.

thanks for the good explanation. I use a Burris fast fire 3 with 8 MOA on my Scorpion 4.5 and I am really very satisfied. I have been able to convince many of my colleagues during training of the advantage of the 8 MOA compared to a 3, 4 or 6 MOA. Try it and you will be positively surprised. Cheers

Which red dot would you recommend for the 4.5 mamba for steel?
