  • We need to give props to 'Camera Boy' Darren🎖. He does an awesome job getting all the right shots, does not miss anything and has a steady hand holding the camera, all the while helping his Mom out!🎉🎥

I think it’s really important that people see loss. Having animals is such hard work and it’s not always pretty to watch. Crystal, your hubby may be a goofball at times but, he’s got your back when you need it most. He grounds you and refocuses you when you need it. Good job everyone!
  • As much as I would love to have a couple of goats, after seeing how much you go through; the joy of each birth and the absolute devastation with each loss, I honestly don’t know if I could do it. I would cry my eyes out for days with each loss. You have been through so much this year. I hope you realize how many babies and mamas would not have survived had you not quit your job to take care of them during this crucial time. You are seriously one of the strongest women around and a fabulous role model for your kids. Luckily, you have a wonderful husband who is always there for you! I am in awe of your ability to get through it all. Much love and respect!
  • I knew what was coming with Maybelline's lost baby, but my eyes still teared up. You were awesome Crystal, you held it together and Derek was so sweet.
  • @JK-ut5cs
I love how Derek is trying to calm you down and comfort you, when things get stressful. That's love.

I cried, oh did I cry!!!! It was for you, it was for the baby, it was for Maybelline, it was for your support team too. You all go through so much together every day. One amazing strong family, and this video shows it in the most purest and concise way possible. The way everyone remains calm in the middle of chaos. The way you all pick up and continue when another doe needs you. Even though your emotions are in a valley of despair, you also feel the new rush of adrenaline and anticipation for the new kids to come. It's a huge physical, mental, and emotional marathon that you conquer together. An amazing family to follow and admire. THANK YOU for sharing your adventure of raising dairy goats, growing your garden, and having family adventures with the world.

Excruciating watching u doing everything possible to save that baby. Incredible support from your honey, reminding u of the feat u accomplished....u saved Maybelline. It’s so awesome watching u do the impossible at moments when everyone is just holding their breath. And then on to Miss Abilene moments later. Cactus Goat Dairy Farm encompasses the life lessons we all need. And the crucial importance of a close knit village. We learn from u and we appreciate u.
  • Parts of this were hard for me to watch. I've saved so many babies, but like you I cry & grieve over the ones I can't. I have to keep telling myself that God gave me the ability to help my does & save most of the kids, but I have to leave the rest to Him! Not ever easy to let some of those precious little ones go!! 😢
  • @barbtries
Maybelline had some unique ways of positioning herself. I cried when the little one didn't make it. You did all you could.
  • I wish I could have been there to help you. I’ve been through what you are going through. As a former L&D nurse, I wanted to save them all, but couldn’t. Just take credit for the important role you played for Mabeline. I really admire you , Crystal.
  • Without sounding archaic in the “month of women” (lol) I love the way Derrick is “your man” when you have a down moment. That was beautiful to witness. Plus, you saved Maybelline’s life! 💕💗
  • @annar6430
Crystal, you tried, its emotionally gut wrenching. Take your que from Maybelline, keep strong. (at least goats can't sue their midwife). You are their mum, they need you and trust you. ❤
  • My neck hurts, my teeth are clenched, my hand is gripping my phone so tight, my whole upper body is tense! Omg! Those goats trust you so much! That last momma was so sweet moaning in your lap. Good job Crystal!! Good good job!! 🤗❤🙏
  • @MrsOdie2
Maybelline was like, "You hurt me, baby, and I will NOT acknowledge your presence."
  • @indoorsyren3955
I’m so sad about Maybelline’s third. The same thing happened here - a tiny, tangled kid that I had to pull, and she didn’t make it. It’s really hard, but you did great, Crystal. You saved Maybelline and you were there for Abilene right after. 💕
  • @janomalley
You are amazing, Crystal. You saved Maybelline and helped deliver 3 babies. I'm so sorry about the third baby but the baby was too far gone.
  • @tracyperry9108
WOW THEIR BABIES ARE ACTUALLY SOOOO STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS❣️❤️🙏🏼🫶🏼🐐🫶🏼🙏🏼❤️❣️🥰🥰🥰👍🏼✌🏼🫶🏼🐾😁👍🏼
  • @Iamfarashuu
The look on Mabelines face. Many a mother has made that face.
  • @Theodorej1960
You guys totally rock!! I'm not a "farm kid", but thanks to you folks, I'm learning quite a bit about what our farm families do and go through to bring us fresh livestock and produce. I love your goats!! I always get a good laugh at the way they sometimes sound so "human" with their bleating. Thanks again for sharing this with us. God bless ya'll.
