RIP David Crosby. This will forever be one of my absolute favorite songs ever. Tears are flowing. ♥

This has to be one of their best performances ever. They play and sing it with passion. Stills lead is exemplary.

I'll be 66 this year and this song does bring tears to my eyes. In 1989 there was a Byrds reunion and I was lucky enough to attend one of the three shows. Each member came out seperately at the beginning of the show and play one song before the entire band kicked into it. Crosby played "Almost Cut My Hair" By now deceased best friend Bruce and eye just looked at each other, thinking of all the fights we'd had with our parents about hair, and how the po-lice used to pull us over just for having long hair. We felt vindicated, by god.

About 25 years ago a group of us construction workers were on an elevator coming down from the top floor and then David Crosby came on the elevator. Everyone started whispering that's David Crosby. I watched him smile at the recognition. a few floors below he got out. I held the door for a few seconds and then yelled YO he turned and I said don't forget to tell your wife that you were on the elevator with Tom Bradford today. he looked at me and cracked up and said that's good my friend I'll make sure I do that. We all laughed our balls off, it was kind of cool.

I always knew Crosby had a great voice but it's even more phenomenal than I had ever imagined, especially with his improvisation. Have never seen them perform live. Just awesome.

I just didn't know David Crosby could still hit those notes, damn, these guys know the magic, I listen to them and they keep that mystic, they found some truth, they found something that have kept them bringing magic, super strong souls.

David Crosby seem to master his voice better and better with the years, and he already did great when a young man. Really love this song!

These mens voices just get better and better with age and age.  They leave me stunned with their beauty.

David Crosby's voice is still very strong. It's the first thing I've heard from them in quite some time, and I'm surprised! I love these guys.

RIP Mr. Crosby, your beautiful music will carry your soul on forever in this world. We were all so lucky to have lived in a time to enjoy and appreciate all and any endeavor you chose. Thank you.

What an important song this was, as well as a great one. And even all the years later, they give it everything.

Almost brings tears to my eyes listening to this. I’m barely 39 and wish so much music like this was still made. Cheers to all the old timers going strong to this day. Thanks for paving the way for some of us! May you all be blessed with many more years!
