Death Valley. Malibu. Santa Monica. Channel Islands National Park. We closed out the year with an epic road trip to California in style, checking out some of the best SoCal has to offer - beautiful coastlines and beaches, gorgeous mountains with hiking and mountain biking trails, tiny islands off in the Pacific Ocean, and also the hottest, driest and lowest place in the United States - and hottest in the world. Not only did we sneak in time for some fun on rollercoasters and other amusement park attractions at Santa Monica Pier. The pubs used to be my favorite in Santa Monica. I'm big on darts. I lived there in 70s right off ocean Avenue and 4th. Had ocean view from my bedroom!!!!
