  • Love "time out bin." And Circe Tarot really doesn't have Circe in it. I was hoping it would focus on her and there's only 1 card. The art is really pretty. I get it. I love Mystic Fairies too, but it is SOOOO yellow. And you're right, a lot of the cards look the same . And Tarot of Tales. I agree. It feels dark. This video was sooo validating for me. Thank you! And Sacred Destiny is one of my favorite Oracles. It was also one of my first. It is also a client favorite :)

I love the name “Time-Out Bin” much better than “Purgatory!” Totally adopting that. I have a few deck regrets that I really wish I had kept them in a box instead of hastily rehoming them out of deck overwhelm anxiety. You touched on that a couple videos ago, I think - about how everyone was deck declutterring out of tarot overwhelm, but I’d love to hear more on how you deal with that while maintaining your large collection?

The different orientations of the Prophet would drive me insane!

Christa, do you know which deck I’m thinking about? It has a cozy 1800s vibe with a spinning wheel, a kerosene lantern, hand drawn. I figured either you or Andi would know because you are so knowledgeable about decks. I’ve been trying to find it.

I also want the Midnight Mushroom Tarot but as I approach 40, my eyes have a hard time with black backgrounds. I had to switch from the black to the white edition of Embroidered Graveyard Oracle for that reason. 😭👵🏼
  • I keep hoping that the creator of Odyssean Tarot will come out with a new version with the accidental AI images replaced. I couldn't unsee the extra fingers and toes so I didn't back it. I love tarot of Aphrodite. I pairs so well with Intuitive Night Goddess and an "As above, So Below" reading. Oh I totally don't jive with the art in Mystic Faerie. Tarot of Tales was in immediate no for me. Those borders, ugh! Yes, totally, every time I see Influence of Angels I think it is the Golden Tarot. They are soooo similar. The Mushroom Oracle by Broccoli Co is so good and the only mushroom oracle I need. I struggled with Marigold too, which I rehomed. I discovered that skeletons are not for me. Not a single HP Lovecraft deck appeals to me. They are waaay too creepy. Midnight Magic is another good one for the below in an "As above, so below" reading with Forager's Daughter or Brady. It pairs so well with so many of my tarot decks. I have a video where I show the pairings. Haha that mini Archetypes guidebook is so teeninsy.

Mystic Faerie was the only deck I’ve ever re-homed lol
  • @sarasurran
The Prophet Oracle is also all artwork by Khalil Gibran. I highly suggest reading the story, it’s very short, and with that understanding the oracle is a lot more potent.

Some decks I use as a study type deck, reading the book and finding out more about a theme. They have done their duty after a while and I don't feel bad if I am not really 'using' them for a lot of readings. Eg the Midnight Magic Mushroom Tarot. I find it less of a dilemma about whether to let go of study decks, if I know right away that they are just for study. Don't know whether that helps
  • Ohh I've been eyeing that pocket Archetypes. I didn't know it was in a tin! Hmm 🤔
  • @caryj6562
I find that Collette BR's decks tend to give me a similar... uncomfortable... feeling as you got from the Mystical Shaman oracle, FWIW. Also, I love the Midnight Magic tarot, but I quite often use it in conjunction with my Botanica tarot as a sort of "what's seen and what's unseen" thing.
  • @terriw6116
That Lord of the Rings tarot is nowhere as good as the one by Fickes Art 🙈🙊
  • @lemenja80
I got the same feeling with mystical shaman oracle. I bought it because of the good reviews, but as soon as I got it in my hands it felt off/wrong. I could not get myself to work with it. Later I got the shamanic medicine and I don’t know why but it feels much more authentic to me, i brought it back to the store and got soms store credits for it, (they will sell it as a lightly used deck).

Any gender can be a cool girl, like how any gender is a gym bro. Troye Sivan? Cool girl. Dandelion/Jaskier from The Witcher? Cool girl. Barack Obama? Insane cool girl vibes. Wonder Woman is a gym bro.
