Today we are exploring Ao Nang and Railay beach in the province of Krabi in southern Thailand. Last time we were here it was beautiful but very quiet, however these days things are much more busy and so let's take a few day tours and explore more of what this area has to offer.

  • Thank you so much for your video blog Pady. My wife and I, who have unfortunately been dead for a few years, visited Ao nang and many islands several times in the early 2000s. When I see your video blog I get nostalgic and many memories come to me and my heart gets warm and full of lots of Thailand memories. Kind regards from Per in Sweden🙏♥️🇸🇪
  • Nice to see the 3 of you having fun together... Michael has a great sense of humor.

Hong island next level for sure! Ao Nang and Railay beach, one of my favorite spots in Thailand. So beautiful. Great drone shots. Glad you, miss p and Michael had a good time. Another awesome video Paddy.
  • Love Krabi❤️ We were there a few years ago……and this video makes us long to be back! This vlog is one of the best and most epic one! Love the drone footage, not to mention the hotel, the trail to the beach and the boat ride to the islands:) This was awesome and thank-you for sharing 🙏

Hey Paddy thanks sharing!!So excited to see people having a good time in Thailand…you are correct this is the sweet spot NOW.
  • Patty, I watch all kinds of videos about Thailand. You are gifted with filmmaking and editing, and your personality is fantastic. You don’t focus on yourself. You focus on the things around you. You are a cut above, and I think most in the world. At any rate once again this old man is enjoying your videos and I wish I had the youth to do what you were doing.
  • Although I'm gutted you are not in Italy with Thys and Lina right now, this vlog is fantastic. I remember watching you walk the empty beach at Railay last year. Seeing how lively it is on this vlog is quite a contrast! Looking forward to Phuket and Patong Beach!
  • Always good. Thanks for the journey and for helping me get through this unprecedented period in all of our lives. We made it!!!

Having stayed in Ao Nang in Feb 2018 and Feb 2020 on my 3rd and 4th visit to Thailand, I'll say it is actually my favourite area of Thailand as well as Koh Lipe. Krabi is amazing with lots to see and do. Yes the 4-island tour is amazing but Hong Island Tour is definitely a must do - I would tell anyone who are staying in Krabi/Ao Nang to do this tour. I went through the nature walk in Hong Island and saw a monitor lizard and yes we went to Hong Lagoon, Lao Lading Island and Pak Bia Island. Also bear in mind that Phi Phi Island Tour is more accessible and quicker from Krabi than Phuket as it is in the Krabi Province. Yes also visited the entire Railey Peninsula for the day (West Railey, Tonsai, East Railey and Phra Nang). I had sunset dinner at Phra Nang Beach which was an awesome experience. Also go to Emerald Pool and Hot Spring. And climb 1240 steps to the top of Tiger Cave Temple, which was a challenge

Lots of great memories happened here. Love Railay and Ao Nang. the best place to swim, take a walk, and handout.
  • Can’t wait to be in Krabi Christmas and new year cheers Paddy for a beautiful video,,, peace and happiness
  • Like you Paddy last time I went a year ago I had that whole beach to myself. Everything was abandoned and leaf strewn. Nice to see life resurfacing
  • @hypnotechno
awesome. Gives new meaning to the idea of getting 'wood'
  • @garygoodrich1
I was just at Hong island and climbed the stairs to the view point. From up there you could see the beach that you were swimming at down below. As I was looking at it a three to four foot monitor crawled out of the water and sent people rushing away from it (although some grabbed their cameras and video equipment to get more up close shots). The climb was definitely rough but you and Miss P. could have made it. You should have gotten a video of the floating bridge there. It was hilarious watching people try to get from the boats to the beach on that bridge. It was rough seas the day I was there. Great content Paddy. Keep it going.
  • @lenalena1683
this is the best video about Ao Nang ever! thanks a lot!
  • All these places are beautiful. The food in Thailand looks very delicious and healthy. The way I imagine heaven. I think we had a glimpse of Miss P - so pretty! You guys were too funny at that cave. Don’t think there is an altar for that here in the States lol. Can’t wait to see where you go next. 🤗
