Actually, the townsfolk DO reward you when you save them from monsters, usually with some food, it's just if you take too long to talk to them they revert back to their original dialogue.

easy tip for fighting Lynels: when you hop on their back after stunning them, your weapon doesn’t take any durability so you can just equip your highest damage weapon and deal a ton of damage to the lynel

I found your video to be super charming and entertaining (not to mention full of lols). Only watched about 30min but plan to finish as I only recently got a Switch and played/beat BOTW. Playing TOTK now but this has been a GR8 recap! Even spotted a few things I missed! SCORE!! Oh, btw, I ended up throwing on my stealth suit and sneaking around ninja style to collect all the shock arrows for the first divine beast. That Lynel was too terrifying o.O
