Hello and welcome! I’m so glad that you decided to stop by my channel. On it, I love to create new and flipped home decor and share the process with you.
We are a homeschool family and like many homeschool families, our dining room is our homeschool room. As such, I am always looking for ways to make that room function as both in the most warm and cozy way that I can. In this episode we create a large wall chalkboard with molding and chalkboard paint. It is completely removes me and renter friendly because we just use command strips to put up the molding. This chalkboard was so quick and easy to make. It would be a great option for a playroom, kitchen, kid’s room, or homeschool room like we will be using it for. No matter where you might use this chalkboard it definitely lends a cozy cottage farmhouse style to your home! Our chalkboard has been so useful already. We use it for all of our lessons and when we are done learning, my kids and I love to draw and decorate with us. We also incorporated our first fall touches in this video as summer is beginning to draw to an end.

The lightweight molding was bought at Lowe’s and I purchased the rustoleum chalkboard paint and tin buckets were from Walmart. I found the garland, autumn pumpkin picks and fairy lights at Micheals. I also used sharpie from Walmart to create the faux shiplap on the wall behind the chalkboard.

    I so love this idea‼ My first thought was that I want to do this but all of our walls in our entire home with the exception of my youngest son's walls in his bedroom, are all knotty pine. I think I am going to do this in his room though. He has a wall that is pretty bare for the most part aside from some hanging superhero decor lol but I think I am going to give this a try in his room ❣
