Nerd Block Classic - June 2017 Unboxing Review. "Badass Women" - VERY DISAPPOINTED

I just finished unboxing mine and I was SUPER pissed, and disappointed. My shirt was Scrooge McDuck... This was the last nail in Nerd Block's coffin for me. I like that your cat is just chilling out in the video the whole time.

I got three boxes and a different shirt in each. I got a Monty Python, Vigo the Carpathian (Ghostbusters), and one from Harbinger Renegade, which I'd never heard of. So I'm thinking they didn't get the Galaxy shirt and just scooped up a bunch of random shirts. Maybe they'll put the Galaxy shirt in a later box? That would be nice, coz I would have liked to get that one.

I was also disappointed this the box sticking to the theme. I would have really liked the book and shirt. I received an email today from NB with updated spoiler cards...

In the Horror Nerd Block for June I didn't receive a booklet (which we usually do) and I received 2 DVDs so I figured they had trouble securing the items for this month. I can't help but worry about the company at this point.

They should have added a bombshell pop! to make up for the crappy T-shirt...😓

my horror block even came with no booklet to tell what was on the box because everyone got a totally different thing. people got old stuff they already had and like every person got a different shirt....a freaking mess. :(

I'm also disappointed in the box after waiting over a month. That clock is something we made in Design and Technology in school. Pathetic attempt by nerd block here.

wow, i thought i was just me. i got a freaking shirt with ZERO from Nightmare Before Christmas. Nerd Block fucked up real good with this box.

This was such a terrible box! I also posted my unboxing video expecting something epic. Princess Leia won the bad-ass women competition on Nerd Block's facebook site and they couldn't find ANY Star Wars item to replace her book for this month? Seriously? My t-shirt was Jay and Silent Bob. Jay, who farted in his girl friend's face, and Silent Bob...WTF? I was SO angry. My disappointment is evident at the end of my video. So much potential for this box, and I ended up super offended by it. 1 bombshell item, okay. But two? Nerd Block offered me a $10 credit. I said I want a full refund. I did not purchase a DC comic block. If that t-shirt and book would have been in there, best box from Nerd Block I've received. Amazing how those two missing items completely changed the dynamic of it. And no Agent Scully item...except for a crossword? I'm still mad about it.

My shirt was an Alice in wonderland. Alice and whoever Anne Hathaway played, its very feminine looking, I don't think they put much thought into who gets what shirt. The delay, the lack of items and the rubbish replacements. I'm done with them, I now need to find a new service that ships to Portugal that isn't loot crate because I don't find them to be good either. Can anyone recommend me one?

I'd have to agree- DO NOT show us what we should have received- Just leave out the magazine. And weren't we supposed to get bonus items in the block to make up for the lateness? In any case, I'm glad my subscription expire in August... I'd be better served just spending the money on collectibles I actually WANT...

From what I've heard and read, Nerdblock is not doing well. I highly doubt they right this ship, especially with the constant delays, and loss of customers. DHL has stopped shipping for them because they aren't paying their bills, and are apparently not paying their debt to their supplier, Fanset.

Not defending NB but those bombshell figures are expensive. I know because I collect them.
