I'm 52. I can't see close to adjust my sight or far to see my target. I hate shooting with glasses on as it causes alignment issues with my peep and glare. They also cause fogging if I try and hunt with them. I ask my buddy if my sight is set where I want it at 3D shoots. My shoulders are a mess because I'm a carpenter, and I still ride snowboards and skateboards ( genX all the way). I now have lupus, and it's attacking my hands, so I can't shoot my handheld releases or my many traditional bows without a lot of pain. So, to answer your question, yes, I can relate to your problems. I like the monocle. I may have to get one. It might also help me see to tie fishing knots as that's another problem I have.

I've been thinking about attaching a magnifying glass of some sort to my sight tape to help with that

Wait till you hit 55. Ya ain’t seen nothing yet 😂😂
