No woodworking video is complete without Meatloaf playing in the background. Well done.

You are showing a rare awesome art and people complain. Some people have no respect and must have low quality speakers, phones or computers cuz I can here everything you are saying perfectly. Keep up the amazing skills man. It is highly appreciated.

Very beautiful work.!

Nice work. At first, I couldn't figure out why or how you'd use a lathe to shape the outside of a pipe, since it's asymmetrical. But after seeing what you do with it, it makes perfect sense! Lots of useful tips here. Thanks for sharing.

nice video, thanks for sharing! I didn't get only what type of wood did you use for the bowl?

Thanks for making this video. Loved every minute of it. I think everybody who wanted to know how to make a pipe got a solid knowledge of "more" than the basics. Did I understand every word you said? no.... but that does not matter. I have one question. You said it is plum wood out of the ROOT! And you also mention that any fruit tree will make a great pipe. Does it always have to be from the root?? or can it be from the stem or limb of the tree? Thank you!

Bob, Where do you get your stems from? I am having a hard time finding a supplier for stem and brass receivers, any suggestions?
-
I lovethis vid

Thanks for your reply. I watched your video on the stems. Great stuff. Can you tell me what they call that little brass piece that you can put in first that receives the stem. I can't find that any where either. I really appreciate your assistance. Signed a newbie in TX

How would you go about drilling the initial holes in the rough blank if you don't have the custom chuck jaws that you are using in this video?
-
very nice work

I may have missed it, but what time of wood is this? I think you mentioned it was a piece of "root" at the very beginning of the video, but it doesn't look like briar to me.
