The Joker is the most iconic Batman villain in DC Comics, having an impact on other Batfamily characters like Jason Todd (Red Hood) and Barbara Gordon (Batgirl). He appears in a plethora of adaptations, including Batman: Arkham Knight, Suicide Squad, Joker: Folie à Deux, The Dark Knight Trilogy, and Zack Snyder's DCEU, just to name a few notable versions. The character is set to appear in more entries connected to Matt Reeves' The Batman universe. However, the Joker has faced issues with oversaturation, as seen in characters like The Batman Who Laughs and Harley Quinn. Games like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Multiversus, and Injustice 2 all feature the Joker in some way. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the latest video game based on DC Comics and enters the Batman: Arkham Universe five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. It marks Rocksteady's first major release since 2015 and features a mind-controlled Justice League as a consequence of Brainiac's invasion. The Justice League roster includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern, while the playable characters from the Suicide Squad include Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang.

  • Dc forgets that batman has unique rogue gallery that Challenges each his skill set on different level.
  • DC seems incapable of utilizing any character not connected to Batman. It's like they forget they have decades worth of Superheros.

Worse, a edgy Joker problem, i want goofy joker, not another clown serial killer
  • They’ve overused joker so much he’s pretty much everybody’s villain now

When Jared Leto‘s Joker came out, I was in middle school, so I was simping HARD for that man, but now that I’m older, I can confidently say I hate that version of Joker. NEVER AGAIN BRO!!
  • I think the other problem is how violent the Joker is now. He just murders for no reason, whereas Bronze Age and even Golden Age had reasons to commit murders. He saw Batman as a worthy foe, not someone to obsess over.

13:22 Ill never understand why DC is so obsessed with making Barb the bat families shared bicycle. Only a matter of time till they somehow try to pair her with Damien
  • I would LOVE to see Mad Hatter take center stage. He definitely has what it takes.

Along with him being overused as hell, I have two big problem with him in recent trays. One, how he's being written more as an agency of chaos/anarchy akin to Heath Ledget rather then having him be the clown prince of crime and Secondly, how the comic keep coming up with excuses as to why no one will kill the guy! Oh, I also hate how much they've been powerscaling him

It sucks that DC thinks of Joker as batman's greatest villian they should only use. Batman has many amazing villians that should be used more like Two face, Scarecrow, Bane, Ra's al ghul, Hugo Strange, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, Penguin, and the court of owls. Those villians deserve to be used more in media. There's so much potential with them.
  • Ras Al Ghul is my favorite Batman villain. I feel he is a better opposite to Batman, being devoted to the same mission, just on a larger and more destructive scale. Basically Batman with no morals and infinite resources.

Finally someone else that agrees that batman who laughs is overated.

I love how every chance you get you are gonna roast the hell out of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League , you ain't never gonna forgive and you especially ain't never gonna forget 😂😂

Batman bitching to Alfred about how they should kill Superman while Alfred is just thinking about every time Joker blew up an X full of Y
  • @FrankByDaylight
No, DC has a Harley Quinn problem. Tired of them trying to make her this Meta Human Anti-Hero.
  • One of the most cringy opinions people say that immediately makes me not think that person is a batman fan for real is "there is no batmn without joker". I'm talking about the people who defend very hard of the Joker's surprise twist as main villain in Arkham Origins and his ghostly return in Arkham Knight. Or the ones who were upset by his lack of use in recent Batman animated movies. Batman has one of the best set of villains in comic history but you're telling me Batman stories don't get much interesting without the Joker? I mean Superman and Flash can have great books without their arch foes but Batman can't? Spider-Man has a debate of 3 arch enemies *Venom, GG and Doc Oct) and clearly his rogues has had spotlight well in media for a while.

DC should do with Batman what MCU does with Spider-man, give him villains never seen before in live action or reinvent villains who have been adapted poorly like Mr. Freeze and try to minimize Joker.
  • @wyzasukitan
Listen, Harley Quinn gotta GO, she literally everywhere. then we can talk about too much Joker
  • @ShawnKuhn-hv4qz
Used to like him as a villain, now i can't stand seeing him in media
