    >Little 6 year old kid watching YouTube videos not sure what he wants to do with his life. >Sees Trev talking about free hotel internet for MLB players. >"I've found my calling." Thanks for doing these videos dude!

I remember Mark Buehrle, when he was with the Blue Jays, when the team was going to New York early in the season, none of the rookies had suits, so he rounded them up and took them to his suit guy and got them some suits on his dime. Told them "That's how we do it in the majors.". I guess he was a great teammate.

Man I really should have been a MLB player instead of a teacher…
  • I was a minor league athletic trainer from 2008-2011. Oakley used to allow me to buy Oakley sunglasses and luggage at 50% off retail price. Also, each year I could email a person at Oakley and trade in a pair of sunglasses of equal or lesser price for a brand new one. It encouraged us to wear Oakley sunglasses when the fans were around. I loved it and used it a lot!!! Great video.
  • I find it fascinating to get these peaks behind the curtain. I loved to wear Griffeys cleats when I played rec ball.

I love how you talk about the people behind the scenes like the traveling secretaries, clubhouse staff, and bellmen. I think a lot of times these folks get overlooked, but it's cool to see a former major leaguer recognizing those people. Favorite baked good is brookies

Love the scene of Yelich smashing a beer during the Bucks game. Great video, thank you.

I had a friend who was a catcher for the Pirates organization and maybe not so much as a perk but during spring training he said Jason Kendall used to pay for all the clubhouse dues for all the catchers in the organization. He also said guys who had huge bat contracts when all their bats would come in, they would pick out the ones they wanted and were going to use & would give the rest of them to a lot of the minor league guys who didn't have bat deals, which I don't think people know how expensive bats can be or sometimes how many players can go through in a season. He also said was some of the interesting perks players had in their contracts like certain players getting the best hotel room at hotels (ARod got the presidential suite), use of private jets or car services for spouses(AJ Burnett's wife had a limo take her from Baltimore to Toronto round trip 8 times a year). My favorite baked good has to be chocolate chip cookies, easy.

You might not still have it - but it would be hilarious if you did a video just showing off some of the random stuff that you received in the mail.

this channel is awesome, letting fans know the inside life of a MLB players. You're letting the average joe live the dream hahah! love your content trevor!

These videos are awesome! I just got done playing college baseball and I’m super invested in the MLB scene so hearing an MLB player talk about this kind of stuff is very interesting. Keep it up T May!
  • @HarryTeasley
Really like your videos, man. You seem like a straight-up guy who is good to the right people (the staff in all the places you go).
  • @KamikaziPanda17
Shortbread cookies are my jam. Favorite perk would probably be setting up reservations and things like that. Even without them being comped just having someone able to do it seems like a lifesaver for a player.

i'm 70 and have been a fan since 1961 when my favorite player (norm cash) hit 361) and won the american league batting title. that year i also saw maris, mantle and all the yankees come to detroit and maris hit 61 home runs that year. also saw ted williams play in his last year. so I ENJOY YOUR VIDEO'S that talk about what it is like being a baseball player. i use to wonder why guys hung on past their prime but after listening to you who would ever want to leave. and even with minimum salary they make more than most people make in years.
  • @huskerfan2725
Hey Trevor could you do a breakdown of what the food was like at the MLB level? I’ve heard different organizations are better than others. Thanks!
  • I was a bellman and MLB players were so chill and nice. Good tips and got to try on some WS rings and drive them around the city. As a huge fan that was the best perk of the job
  • @wking6159
Great video...thanks Trevor! A's fan here so glad we had you for a little while...and I'm going with chocolate chip cookies!
  • @razzleland
Great job! I love the behind the scenes stuff that nobody really knows about. Don't know if it's been done. But it would be cool to see the day to day of the clubhouse attendants. A lot of times, you hear that World Series teams will give them a full share. I'd find it quite interesting to see a nice mini doc about what all they do.
