i got inspired after seeing so many AMV's using this song so i decided to make one for One Piece, an anime near and dear to my heart.

I dont really think this is an AMV but my attempt at making one! Enjoy!

Song: Rex Orange County - Pluto Projector ( Slowed + Reverbed ).

Hey Everyone!!! I would like to start off by apologizing for being inactive for the past 2 years! For the people who are waiting on the next AMV, I would like to apologize to everyone. A lot has changed these past two years. I met a Wonderful Woman who I am happily married to now! And we have a baby on the way as well. I would like to thank you all for 1 MILLION VEIWS!!!! These past 2-3 years has taught me a lot about myself that I never really knew how to handle but it’s safe to say I’m better now. I’m going to try and make the next AMV as promised but I move to California in a weeks time😅 THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT ON MY VERY FIRST AMV AND WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST GRATITUDE TO EVERYONE ONE WHO LIKED IT. THANK YOU!!!!🥰❤️😭

When I watched Arlong it made me question why people said “ONE PIECE DOESNT GET GOOD UNTIL 700 EPISODES IN”
  • Damn Sanji I feel bad for him. After escaping his father, he got attacked by pirates and almost starved to death all while he was a child.
  • The part that really hit me was when luffy wasn’t able to protect his friends from kuma and him having a mental breakdown just seeing luffy a guy thats always happy even when something bad is happening just slamming his head on the ground crying

This...This is where I got hooked....God the arlong arc was epic.
  • @Furugeru
Honestly I feel like the "Of course I will!" hit harder than "He's gonna pay!"
  • When Luffy put his hat on Nami's head before beating the crap out of Arlong was one of my favourite early OP moments.

Sanji is such a sad character. His own father said things so horrible to him that he didn't have a will to fight back, then Zeff(the real father to Sanji) sacrificed a leg for him, he always thought that he had to pay Zeff back for every he did for Sanji until Luffy came and let him know that Zeff didn't save Sanji so that he would pay Zeff back someday. And this is where it gets too heart breaking. His father blackmails him to marry someone whose mother is Luffy's enemy just so that he can enhance his power with someone he called useless. And then(oh my GOD I am gonna cry as I am commenting this) he learns that the person who he is gonna marry was betraying him from the very start. The "Luffy.. I want to get back to the Sunny" hit so hard that I might never recover from it.. Luffy is literally the salvation for all his friends. This is why Luffy and Sanji are my top 3 favourite characters of the show!

Luffy really said "f you, f your organisations, i'm takin my friends, talk to this gomu gomu no pistol if you got a problem"
  • Arlong park was the “masterpiece tutorial” for One Piece. It was the first arc that showed just how deeply Luffy cares about people he befriends and how far he goes to help them. Arlong park was also the first arc that related to real-world issues like tyranny (Taliban in Afghanistan) and government corruption (Arlong pays government to keep rule at Cocoyashi. Much like how there are many questionable and bad corporations that are profitable to the government so they don’t dismantle them). It was also the first arc to show a scene no innocent kid would fully understand: someone inflicting SELF-HARM (Nami stabbing her Arlong tattoo). This arc was beyond outstanding, did a great job setting up the rest of the series, and captured the hearts of too many. Watching this arc led watchers to only two paths: to fall in love and watch/read the rest of the series, or to not feel too stimulated and either stop or keep watching the show until getting bored. Obviously, the former is the path I took.

So happy to be alive right now so that I can experience this amazing story. Rip all the Nakamas that aren't here anymore to experience the end of the journey.
  • For me it was baratie then it was complete in loguetown arc. Luffy doing the same as Roger and him smiling even when he was about to die piqued my interest. Edit: The English professors could not leave me alone.

One Piece is a journey with all ups and downs. Interesting enough Nami, Robin and Sanji decided to solve their problems alone and learned from Luffy that for him now their problems are his problems too. The backstories are so hard to watch..... 😭😭😭
  • Damn the part where Robin screams she wants to live got me feeling deep emotions....
  • At this point I feel like every arc in one piece has made me tear up at least once 😭

Sanji's backstory was too heavy for children to experience. Bullied by his brothers, lost his mother, rejected by his father, starved to death.
  • @shii1188
sanji's backstory, both in general slapped me so hard that even my heart started crying
  • @oren9600
When i was 10 this scene traumatized me ...
