Money just removes stress. Doesn't add happiness.

When I saved my first 10k, I felt ritch. After I saved my first 100k, I felt poor. The more money you get, the higher your expectations become. A millionaire in a room full of billionaires will feel poor, discontented and unhappy. Spend a day with a homeless person, and you'll feel the luckiest person in the world.
  • time = money, when you have enough money to have control over your time, you have freedom. freedom = happiness

Happiness is when my basic needs are met and maintaining a giver style of life.

This was a good one Rachel!!! And like Dave says if you have no payments your income becomes your wealth builder and $88,000 starts to feel more like $100,000 a year
  • Happiness is about attitude not money. Too little can cause stress

I think money buys you security and the security makes people happy. Knowing you have enough for groceries, housings, etc will allow you to be at ease. But to be honest people are greedy and some will never be happy.
  • 100 agree with the pre-cut parchment paper and I also splurged on the pre-cut aluminum foil. There is so much less waste and the majority of the time I can reuse them.
  • Money buys you options, options=less stress, less stress=happiness.
  • This is encouraging for someone like me from a low income small town. Thanks Rachel!

The avg. American is having a tough time, I know I am not alone. There are others in same position as me. By certain statistics: 22% of americans have no retirement savings. 64% are worried that they will not have money in latter years while 47% of adults who are not yet retired think they have to work part-time in retirement. 200k, seperately outside retirement access depleted over the years? what can I do?

I always recall the words of the venerable Weird Al: "If money can't buy happiness, I guess I'll have to rent it."
  • Aquaphor works WAY better than Laneige lip balm in my opinion and is significantly cheaper
  • Microblading for my eyebrows. Spend a few hundred dollars on the service but I’ll never have to fill in my eyebrows for 2-4 years. I wake up like this 💁🏾‍♀️

If you think money can’t buy happiness, then you don’t know where to shop!

If you place a number on what you need to be happy you will never be happy..

I love spending more money on premade healthy meals from Costco! All that saved time makes me so happy!
