  • This is easily the greatest collection of recievers ever to play on the same field..
  • Kurt was bagging groceries when he got the call from the Rams. This is one of the greatest stories in Football.

R.I.P. Pat Summerall and John Madden, the greatest broadcasting team to ever call every NFL game for more than 2 decades.
  • When it comes to shooting themselves in the foot in the playoffs the Vikings are second to none.

Cris Carter always looked like he was 40

I remember Domino's had this special going. $1 off for every TD the Rams scored. They were selling large pizzas for $3 that day. Two and a half hour wait. Until they ran out of cheese.
  • Issac Bruce admitted that he pulled his hamstring before the game but didn't tell anyone in fear of being pulled or limited in the game. Yet he caught the first play for a TD and showed no sign of grimacing in pain. Amazing.

That Rams offense was like playing Madden on rookie difficulty.

As a 49ers fan this year was a nightmare. We had killed the Rams like 17 STRAIGHT TIMES from 1991 to 1998. Then 1999 happened. We lost Steve Young in week 3, and by week 5 the Rams were in full force. The glory days had officially faded. That being said, much respect to that three year from the Rams had from 1999 to 2001. Personally I think it's the best stretch in that time for an offense I'd ever seen. Even compared to some of the years the 49ers had together in the 80s and 90s. Too bad we didn't get a Rams/Ravens Super Bowl in 2000.

Viking fan here, I remember that game and it was hard to watch, but Kurt Warner and company were incredible. Stories like Warner are what make the NFL awesome.
  • @SkolneyVikings
That 2nd half kickoff was a complete dagger. Vikings never recovered.
  • @Pksoze
The best offensive team I've ever seen. If they played with today's rules they would have scored 650 points...maybe even 700.

That damn Jeff George had some amazing arm talent . Right there with Rodgers and mahomes . Such an underachiever .

" I guarantee it won't be that kinda Game next Sunday " - John Madden Next Sunday NFC championship Game. Rams 11 Bucs 6

As a St. Louis Rams fan, Bob and weave was the greatest thing before NFL killed it.

Don’t you dare tell me St. Louis is not a great football city. Listen to the crowd, the dome was absolutely rocking with noise. This was of course when the team had an owner that actually cared about the on-field product however.

Doesn't get much better than this,2 teams with two of the best wide receiver combos you will ever see,Kurt warner is one of the best QB to ever play the game.

Odds of winning a football game by scoring 37 points? 97% Unless your playing against Kurt Warner
