An additional note. Radahn does not shoot you with arrows. He shoots you with the spears of Malenia's Cleanrot Knights that are embedded in him. Truly a badass.

Just wanted to quote his different titles; "General Radahn" "Red Lion of Caelid" "Redmane General" "Starscourge Radahn" "Conquerer of the Stars" He's so badass that he have more titles than everyone else.

Let's think for a moment, Ranni needs us to kill Radahn to release the stars. Ranni is one of the strongest magic users ever and couldn't break Radahn's hold on the sky, even when he had been afflicted with scarlet rot

He was the most powerful demigod, and we only fought him severely weakened, imagine fighting him at full power.

One of the biggest bad ass factors of Radahn is that aside from letting Malenia put her arm back on, she was forced to use the power of an outer god just for it to be a draw. A draw that had her people carry her off the battlefield while he still stood and did all that star holding. On top of that he could have easily used his own powers to drop the stars on her if he chose and nuked the battlefield the same way she did, but he didn't. He was fighting with so many handicaps only for the woman who never knew defeat to only draw after relying on another god to win through non-combat ways.

Most wholesome guy . Even in his mad state he still keep his steed safe and still was holding back monsters from the stars. Such a sweetheart

I don't know if Radahn lost his feet by dragging them... but I've heard it was actually the Scarlet Rot. It would seem the rot eats limbs first, which is why Malenia has prosthetics on both legs and her arm (and Millicent lacks an arm).

RIP Chadahn, you were too good for this world. 🤜

Radahn kinda reminds me of Artorias, an honorable, valiant warrior who's lost his mind and who we battle in a weakened state despite the fight still being very challenging, and that's why these two are a few of my favorite characters in these games!

I feel like Radahn is having an internal struggle, between the Golden Order and the Carian royal family. What if he couldn’t choose which side he favored? Couldn’t choose between his parents. By commanding the stars he essentially halted the story from progressing, allowing no side to advance over the former and making himself the roadblock to conflict.

Radahn trapped himself in a desert because he wanted to protect others and his subordinates love him so much that they hold Radahn festival to find someone to relieve him of the pain. Absolute chad

Correction about Ranni's endgame - She wants to get rid of the influence of outgods and allow the residents of the Lands Between to control their own fates and destinies without some outside meddling from beings like the Great Will, the Formless Mother, the Flame of Frenzy, etc. The Great Will was likely to choose Ranni as Queen Marika's successor, and Ranni didn't want anything to do with becoming the next God over the Lands Between. So she decided to go against her fate and actively plot against the Greater Will, the Golden Order and so on. Other than that, you pretty much got everything else spot on. Radahn loves his silly and loyal steed and wanted to protect the Lands Between from the horrors in the sky.
