Smm1 really was so much more whimsical than smm2. Smm2 would never make you shake a muncher for an hour until little flies pop out so you have to tap on the fly to start the mario paint fly swatting mini game and then you have to swat all the flies so the big robot alien fly comes out and you have to swat it a million times or else it's back to square one buckaroo but if you triumph you get to unlock skinny mario which is much like mario from the video game except he is far skinnier, and it is so much worse because of that

44 minutes of simple flips is a blessing

I love the fact that simple came back to the first Super Mario Maker. I kept watching his SMM Races with foxen nonstop on repeat always, they're just so hilarious and fun

Because no new levels will ever be added, you could hypothetically clear every uncleared level in the whole game
