Tommie, you are filling a big gap in Snowboarding videos on Youtube. You're teaching the technique and the theory to progress from intermediate to advanced riding. Most instructional videos on YT are either beginner stuff or tips & tricks (no shade, love y'all) without getting deep into how the forces on the board. This is extremely useful for lots of riders. Keep it up man.

Wow, has this guy watched me board?! I do all of those bad habits! Dude saved me $400 for a private lesson! Thanks Tommie!
  • @JakeLaPutka
Literally was looking for a vid like this for my wife and BAM this just uploaded 🔥
  • @seancusson72
These videos are so helpful. As a 49 year old on my second season keeping up with my 14 year old son on his 4th season is a challenge so these fundamentals videos are a real savior. I would love to see a video on how to avoid my board getting "floaty" when I'm on a flat run. Keep up the awesome work dude!
  • As someone who has been learning this season your channel has been invaluable. Just starting to be able to go down the easy trails but struggling with my toe edge. Going to be practicing all of these tips this coming week and I'm really stoked. Thanks man.
  • @crazypo0d0g
I needed tips exactly like this. I’ve had these problems that I didn’t even know I had, freaking thank you so much!!!!
  • @dustincope1623
These videos have made me such a better rider. I've practiced ur tips for hours and it has made me so much more confident on my board. Thanks you!!!
  • Love your videos man. Been watching for a few months and they really helped me out last time I went to the slopes. Bought a board and all the gear to head out this coming weekend and gonna apply what I learned from this vid! Keep em coming!
  • Tommie, these videos are outstanding. I'm getting over a huge knee injury (not from snowboarding) and watching these is keeping me motivated and ready to get back on the snow when I'm healed up. I'll almost certainly be a better rider even with the downtime because of them. Thanks, mate!

Tommie, THANK YOU SO MUCH for Ll of these amazing videos. 🙏🙏🙏 They have helped me become a better rider!! My carving has definitely improved because of your tips. Keep on being awesome!!!
  • @Airaid007
This video helped me become 100x better lol I went 2 weeks ago And I was having difficulty trying to carve and make turns after I watched this video and understood how the knee functions I was going down the hill without falling. Love these videos! Thank you!
  • @Adriana-ej3fd
The turn with your knees technique has been the single most thing that’s helped improve my riding. I started by constantly falling every time I went snowboarding. Thank you so much.

So positive, so simple, so useful and so infectious. Great job Tommie and Sean.
  • Absolutely loving all of the super nerdy videos - you’ve 100% helped my snowboarding. Keep up the great content!
  • Been boarding for a week here in UT, have just tried out the bug and door analogy, amazing is all I can say, I can turn much better. Thanks for the video! 😉 Keep up the good work!
  • @jaredarnold2166
Tommie! This video was exactly what I needed to get back out on the slopes after 11 yrs (broke my arm haha and swore off it) as you say, you won't learn unless you're out snowboarding! Squashing the bug n opening the door are the two tips I needed for it to click & and actually start controlling my speed on my toes as well as the transition to heels. This video alone was better than any lesson I had in person! You rock! New sub

I’m 50. Been snowboarding 25 years. I’m in excellent shape for my age, but it’s super important that I focus on form and keeping things smooth as ever. I have a season pass to 2 mountains in the PNW, stoked as ever. New deck for this year. Thx for taking the time to teach dude, you’re a rare breed. Just the way you put ideas together for anyone to understand, many will get a lot out of these vids.
  • @raja4448
Just wow! One of the best instructional snowboard videos i have come across in YT. I have been watching so many videos but this one just focuses on what matters with zero bs/distractions.
  • @shadowcras
Hey Tommie I stopped snowboarding for like 6 years (family, kids, etc) but now I was able to go back and thanks to your videos I have fixed some of my postures and be able to ride much more easier. Thank you man! I really enjoy watching your videos!!
