I love it when the song switches to the player’s perspective, but I like to also think that the toys are warning the player with the lyrics. The toys that mommy strung up when they “failed her” after the player beat them at their respective games.

I like the pun they made there “Let's see how LONG you'll last.” The perseverance you had to do with the games and the frustrating wild chase of Mommy. Completely describes this line here...

Did you notice in the chorus of the song: “There’s nothing left I wonder all alone” indicates that the main character is obviously all by themselves. Next we have “this empty shell is now my only home”, referring to MommyLonglegs toy body. Then we have “lost your memory”, the game Musical Memory. “Fighting back your past”, Wack-a-Wuggy. And finally, “moving through the dark, let’s see how long you’ll last”, which is the pugapiller statues game. Btw absolutely loved the song mate.
