Strengthen Your Strength // Start Sharp (Part 2) // Michael Todd

My sermon notes for "Start Sharp// strengthen your strength" week 2: 1.) The goal is to start sharp and stay sharp. Everything you think you can do well, you can do better 2.) You can only strengthen your strength by becoming a student again. You can't be too proud to fail at something you are strong at. 3.) God is expecting more from what he gave you. When you don't create, you critique. What if the gift was just to give God glory? Stir up the gift. You can't be concerned with the opinions of others in your purpose walk . The goal is not for people's appreciation but obedience. God does not have an age limit to your calling 4.) You need more room to do what God has calling you to do 5.) Break the contract with the lies you have believed 6.) Stand strong in your gift and stir it up. God is reminding you to stir up a gift that is already there 7.) We all have gifts, and they have come from God. God has not changed his mind about your gifts. Sometimes, it's more about what you are getting than what you are giving How do you know what your strengths are: 1.) Natural: These are gifts that come easy to you but are harder for others 2.) Named: These are gifts that loved ones and strangers can identify in you 3.) Nurtured: These are gifts that have been watered by your environment, encouragement, and effort 8.) Greatness is always nurtured What keeps you from strengthening your strength?: 1.)Comparisons 2.) Converting 3.) Complacency 4.) Comforting 9.) Flip the gift-- for the gifts who were mislabeled 10.) Strength submitted to God are success, but strength un-submitted to God becomes stress 11.) Make this the last time considering the gifts that God has given you as an option Strength prayer: Dear God, today I acknowledge that I am gifted ! I pray that you would help me stir up the gift you have placed on the inside me. Let your strength be my strength. In Jesus' name,amen. I feel led to say this, everybody please keep Pastor Michael Todd Lifted up in prayer. Pray that the Lord continues to strengthen, protect, guide him because his impact on our lives is greater than what we can imagine. I truly thank God for this brother. I’m in tears, even describing faithfulness which I seen a part of myself in that.. wrapping up mic cords.. when nobody is there applauding you.. people need this kind of encouragement, support, energy. Especially me. Man. 🙏 God Bless you Michael. You’ve been a huge impact on my life. God is soo good. Jesus is the way! If God be for you.. then seriously who can be against you. Amen my father used to call me useless, weak and anxious but my heavenly father flipped it around. Im useful, strong and confident with God on my side.

When pastor Mike spoke about anxiety 🤦🏾 it hit home and I am going to flip my gift 🙏🏾

I am in South Africa. I started listening to pastor Mike and transformation church last year and it has been changing my life every single day. I have had a hard time being a Christian for more than 16 years but he is opening up in my life what God really wants from me and I am so grateful. One day I hope I can visit transformation church because I don't think anyone could be changing my faith the way transformation church is.

❤ I’ve been a graphic designer since 2013 and I’m planning on going back to school to strengthen my strength in graphic design to help financially support myself and my sons. I’ve been so stressed about if I’m making the right decision. I’m only 10:47 seconds into this message and I had to rewind multiple times. Did he just say that? Did he really say that? God is so good!

This message landed in my lap this morning confirming every thing I have been doing lately. Such confirmation from my Father. This is the funny part. I watched it at 6 a.m. at the kitchen table where I pray and study every morning. My poor (blessed 😂) husband's name is Wayman. I shouted, Amen!, so loud, that he came running out of a dead sleep to the kitchen because he thought I shouted his name in distress. 😅 I laughed so hard! I said, "No, babe, I shouted, Amen, not Wayman!" I am crying from laughing. He will laugh about it later. I am sure of that. Thank you for this message. I have to go get to strengthening!
