She is one of those giants in piano for sure
  • @Rozczoch67
she erned my full respect by letting the piano resonateafter before the soft fuge-like part in the begining
  • This Mt.Everest of Beethoven piano sonatas presents Yuja with no problem. She's enjoying herself and the wonderful, complex melodies.

Enchanting performance. She plays each section with a different emotion. I've heard some wonderful takes on this piece, but Yuja Wang makes it an enjoyable experience.

I love seeing her rolling her eyes at the audience's coughs, just before the 4th movement!
  • It is great to hear Yuja applying her womderful musicianship and fantastic technique to Beethoven. Just think what could be to come as she embraces the classical sonata repertoire and perhaps even Bach. I find this performance very satisfying.
  • In the second movement Beethoven makes us wait. It slows to a beautiful melody, so tantalizing, daring this non-player to hit the next note. Yuja's timing is so seductive. The wait is delicious and excruciating.

May be the most exciting pianist performing today. Yuja Wang is most definitely my favorite, for many reasons. I wish her continued success, happiness, blessing, both in her music and life.
  • It's almost impossible to find a best adagio than this one. Beethoven touched heaven. From 17:17 he reaches the Olimpus. When arrives to the climax in the faster section one needs to restart! Such beauty is beyond everything.

Why worry about she wears! She's absoloutely brilliant & looks amazing as usual
  • The fugue repays listening carefully. Ms Wang doesn't hit you in the face, it's part of highly complex music, exposed with balance and confidence. How she must enjoy - love! - playing it!

Beethoven’s piano sonata No. 29 in B-flat is Beethoven’s most difficult to play sonata. Most other performers try to avoid it because they do not have enough skill. Franz Liszt was historically the first pianist who can master the technique. András Schiff is another master who can tackle this piece. I am happy that Yuja can also master this and performs. She is the only one I found on YouTube on this sonata. It is not a beautiful sonata and most people or audiences are turned off by the sonata. Bravo Yuja !
  • Please only open your ears to this incredible performance and instead of looking anywhere just look at those marvelouse hands floating over those white and black ebony keys making speak Beethoven trough that sublime Sonata.

Yuja Wang is the best living piano player in my humble opinion . Her technique is as near to perfect as possible . It can be seen that she feels the emotion of the music . And she has style and knows how to put on a show . She is amazing .
  • I love Everything about Miss Yuja Wang, from the minute she walks in, with her stunning high heeled walking cadence, she seems more like Miss Universe and then you are prepared to listen to her unique bold piano playing style . She takes care of every single symphonic detail . I am looking forward to see her perform for many years to come!!!!

Absolutely stunning performance and interpretation. Not coomments about incredible phichologycal stage stability and brillant technique along with the deep emotional dissolution at /in/ the Beethoven's music. Slow part is unique as a music and sound under Yuja s fingers. Рévérence
