Pioneer should add the stems option to the screen next to the beat jump and key section.

Hey Phil!! I hear you talk about the ddj tips office is in Gibraltar. I lived in Cheltenham when I was younger and only remember hearing of Gibraltar the island not as in a town in England. Oh yeah thanks for this lesson on stems for the cdj 3000.

I think the next move for Serato, is get that CDJ 3000 touch screen updated for the stems, hot cues, and the other features. It makes sense to do a software update before we see new hardware update. I suspect we are are going to see some big changes in the CDJ moving forward. When I have no idea. The Software is miles ahead of that CDJ's can do now. For me right now, if i was using Serato the most obvious work around would be, to add something like a midi fighter from DJ tech tools (500g / 1 extra usb). Or even a Traktor F1 (750g / 1 extra usb). Stems are that good now i think its well worth learning to map something yourself. I'd love to see Serato bring out something like the X1 / F1. For effects, stems & hot cues. Something around £200 less than 1kg.

Being primarily a Virtual DJ user, I had no idea you couldn't do this in Serato before...
-
I MIDI mapped a user mode on the XP2 for stems. It only took a few minutes to set up. Been using it like this for almost a year.
-
it would be nice if they would support the Numark v7 that standalone controller was a beast!
-
agreed that you need a midi mapped button to toggle on and off, the hot cues and stems, on cdjs
-
How would I MIDI map the job assist to switching between hot cue and stems
-
What if I don't see replace pads with stems in my setting box. I have latest update. Running and Opus Quad
-
You can already midi map the DDJ-XP2? I have the bottom 2 rows of the first pad mode as stems and stem effects? am I missing something?
-
Do you know if Pioneer DJ intends to integrate Stems into the Opus Quad at some point?
-
Good tips but can we midi map stems fonction on cdj3000 like on e-f-g-h button ? Thanks
-
so is it currently possible to midi map something like the jog mode button to toggle stem mode? or perhaps to remap 4 of the hot cues as stems?
-
Why is the pioneer xdj-xz not on the list of compatible controllers? Is it because your video talking about cdj's .
-
Do you think in the future we will get a flagship pioneer battle style mixer (S7, S9, S11) with hardware stems buttons?
-
Great now I lost use of my hot cues on my CDJ unless I use my laptop keyboard 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
-
I don't understand when you say that a piece of hardware "unlocks" Serato. Does that mean that there's a version of Serato "in" the hardware? Or is it that your version of Serato won't work until you plug it into the hardware. I'm confused. I'm not a Serato user so I don't get it!
-
can you dj at parties with one cdj3000 and a mixer
-
Why there’s never been a pad mode button next to cdj hot cues is beyond me…
