In Memphis's Forrest Park, there's a statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest, one of the most infamous and powerful racists in American history. Lately it's been at the center of the city's often shaky race relations. In part 2, we learn how the history of the Ku Klux Klan and General Forrest relate to Memphis today.

  • Well, why not just build a statue of Martin Luther King, Jr. and have him next to Mr. Forrest. King was a peaceful man and would want to subdue his enemies with kindness. I could see him trying to reason with Forrest. Plus it would be such a beautiful troll to all parties.
