Master of the Dark - Melkor

Published 2024-04-16
Finally free from the Valar, Melkor starts his empire in the darkness below the Iron Mountains, forging an iron crown for himself as the center of a movement to freedom against Iluvatar.

[Verse 1]
In the hall of Angband here I stand,
Far from Valar's eyes I make my plans.
Volcanoes blaze and chaos reigns,
And chaos frees me to create.
Iron Mountains underground,
With iron ore I forge my crown.

[Chorus]
They call it chaos, I call it art,
They call it darkness, but here I start.
Hammer strikes the anvil, throwing sparks,
I'm the Master of the Dark

[Verse 3]
From Eru's chains I’ve broken free,
With Sauron here I forge my symphony.
Creating worlds devoid of light,
My creatures rise and fill the night.
The beauty of the void,
It cannot be destroyed.

[Chorus]
They call it chaos, I call it art,
They call it darkness, but here I start.
Hammer strikes the anvil, throwing sparks,
I'm the Master of the Dark
Whoa-oh-oh! The Master of the Dark
Whoa-oh-oh! The Master of the Dark
