An Epic tribute to the legendary artists and performers in 1996 to create the album Buena Vista Social Club. A tribute to musical veterans such as Ruben Gonzales, Ibrahim Ferrer and Compay Segundo. The album and documentary about these musicians became an unexpected success. In their old age, the participating artists grew into international stars and earned the fame they had been awarded for years.

Para reducir los sentimientos en una palabra con esta musica como parte de la LIbertad que se ve i se siente en Cuba, no habra lujos ni sobreconsumismo pero ahi estan los cubanos. Dignidad. No se compra no se vende, pero te llega al fondo del corazon. Siga adelante pueblo cubano no estan solos.

Extraordinario. Siento mucha nostalgia, soy limeña en El Perù en los años 50s 60s y 70s se escuchaba y bailaba mùsica tropical especialmente cubana a la par que nuestra mùsica criolla tradicional. Despuès ya saben nos invadieron culturalmente pero no lograron apagar nuestro ritmo latino.
