I have over a thousand miles on my pint and it has become a daily ride for me. It is perfect for running around my small town. I agree that it is up to the rider to keep safe.

Lack of Personal Responsibility in our society today...Be careful when giving up your safety to the Government.

The protectionist. Looking out for all of us, so nice of them. Providing a service to us all, that we don’t want and didn’t ask for!

Thanks for letting us all know, this is the fist I heard of an issue. I signed the petition, and I hope everyone else that watches this does too.

It's like middle school all over again, the town council trying to ban skateboards. Not even a one wheeler, but I support y'all and your right to travel with them.

Not a Onewheeler, but do have a couple of EUCs and I’m certainly with all of you on this, since it seems like it’s an attack on self balancing devices because you can bail if you go too fast. I know how to ride and I’m not afraid of “ejecting” and I ride way faster than a Onewheel. Listen to the device and you have nothing more to worry about than on anything else that moves. This cannot stand as a decision. I drive my car much less than I otherwise would, that is statistically much safer for everybody. If anybody gets hurt, it’s basically a guarantee that’s me and not other people. I’m an adult, a father, and a taxpayer, and that’s my choice. I’m not hurting anybody else, and I’m not interested in their opinion that they don’t want to ride one. So don’t, but leave me alone.

Thanks Talon! Definitely signed that survey. I think if we emphasize the financial impact of banning Onewheels it will help them see the light. There is a significant tax revenue stream that comes from Onewheels and their accessories. Banning Onewheels will just remove that revenue stream and folks will just go rogue and continue supporting Onewheels or other DIY Onewheel-like projects. In addition, they would also eliminate one of the few US-based PEV manufacturers. None of the Chinese-based manufacturers will care as they know the revenue stream from all the other PEVs coming into the US would be missed and there will be ways to get their products into the US regardless of the CPSC.

Signed the petition and wrote a very heartfelt letter. It's ridiculous how much regulation and rule gets put in place using safety as an excuse.

Excellent video! I have over 1,600 miles between my OG Pint and new GT and have only one bad fall which was completely user error. I was wearing a helmet and had only minor scrapes as a result. I now wear wrist guards as well on most rides. Understand your board, know the limits of your ability, wear your helmet, respect pushback, and enjoy the ride!

I signed the petition and liked the video. I'm an euc rider and hate this government overreach. If we're not harming anyone financially or with bodily harm the government should let us do as we please.

Haven't been able to afford a one wheel and I'll stand behind them 1000%

As much as I dislike future motion for their anti repair and anti modding practises. This seems unfair but it's not surprising. Afaik they were asked to do a recall on GTs for the "ghosting" and instead of doing a full recall they issued customer replacement footpads and told them to do it themselves. And we already know some of these customers are the type of people that ignore push back warnings. So it wouldnt be surprising some people might mess it up potentially. I won't sign anything on FM's behalf but I'm just saddened that this kind of thing is gonna impact PEV's as a whole and give them a bad reputation.
