My great aunt died from sepsis shortly after giving birth in 1925, and my days’ old cousin lost his mother. My mother told me this story growing up and how this doesn’t happen anymore because of improvements in healthcare. All the people who knew my great aunt are dead now, but they would be shocked that procedures developed after her death almost 100 years ago that could have saved her are no longer available today because of politics and ethics. We need to take women’s lives seriously and reduce their risk of death from pregnancy.

As a woman, my heart breaks for these women. I also look at this group knowing half of them voted for the politicians who ushered these laws in or didn't bother to vote at all. Sadly, you are getting what you asked for! No one bothers to think about how these laws will ultimately impact them until it is too late!

I have had 3 miscarriages this year and needed Mifepristone to expel the already dead tissue that wasn't coming out SO THAT WE COULD TRY AGAIN and to protect me from infection or ruining my fertility. Even people who want to have children use these drugs! This is essential medical care!

So proud of these women. I am so mad how our country is going. I just can’t even imagine how these women feel. I hope this video seen a million times. This country HAS to change.

How brave these women are to share their stories. This is what no exceptions looks life. I believe (as do most people) that the rights of an unborn fetus who will either die before or right after birth should not out weigh the rights of the mother. Use your vote and your voice!
  • IT MAKES NO SENSE to live in a ANTI ABORTION STATE WITHOUT PREGNANCY CARE for women. Something really needs to be done about this emergency. Watch the video.

Why are the doctors not speaking to the Texas governor as a group about this heinous situation?

This is insane. I really hope things change for the better because this is heartbreaking

Please highlight the Ohio woman being prosecuted after her miscarrage. She miscarried after two er's said the fetus is dead and sent her home. The autopsy stated the fetus was stillborn when birthed on the toilet (many women do). They are now charging her with abuse of corpse. Ridiculous.

Why won't it air on regular cable or just about everywhere? This is more important than celebrities dancing or showing off their lavish lives on reality shows or shows about zombies and sex starved teens.

I get the feeling that it might take something extremely graphic, visceral, and beyond disturbing to truly drive the point home for these out of touch right-wing misogynists and hypocrites in power.
  • This is what happens when you elect into power those who want to govern by religion... particularly THEIR own religious beliefs.

This is b*******, it just blows my mind. How we have people controlling our bodies like seriously. It's my freaking body if I drink. You're not saying anything because it's my body. If I to get rid of my unborn baby because of health reasons. Or whatever the case may be its my body..the nerve of them

"They [doctors] literally couldn't do anything until the blood work showed that I was dying." Sadly, the politicians that make these laws likely give zero craps.
  • @tinamarie56
Ohio had the same problem. Men should NEVER TELL US WOMEN WHAT WE CAN DO TO OUR BODIES.
  • @ksjackson4718
These women should sue the state of Texas for attempted murder.
  • @TheNachoman36
People shouldn't be forced to do anything based on somone else's religious beliefs. Everyone preaches freedom and liberty until they want to pass judgment on others.
