Would love a video of a load out. Want to see how people put the gear on for trekking into the woods. Tips on equippment placement on where to carry the sticks for quick deployment, things like that.

This is your best work yet, Justin! Getting into saddle hunting can be overwhelming, if you let it. You just helped simplify the process, down to what is really necessary to get going in saddle hunting, and what is not. Thanks for the great info!

This was really great! Thank you for all of your knowledge. I just started looking into it and I really like how you do not pressure anyone into doing your way, or your way of the only way, etc. I hate when I watch things and feel like I need to buy everything the person is doing/showing to make it work. You were able to keep options open for anyone interested while getting the point across. Thank you

Back when I started bowhunting, too many years ago to admit, I was so poor, I couldn’t pay attention! I used 5” 2X4 blocks with a hole drilled into the “NW” corner. I put a 9mm rope (nothing like today’s ropes). I’d tie a knot on each side of the hole. They’d be about 4-6’ in length, with my block in the middle. I’d just tie them around a tree, use a lineman’s belt, and go as far up a tree as I wanted! I’m not going to tell about my homemade stand , with a car seatbelt, but for the budget guys out there, these blocks were great. They were quiet, and I could have 5 or 6 of them on me and go as high as I needed. Sticks are way better, so save your money, and above all, be safe!!!!

Saddle hunting has come along ways in the past couple of years.

Solid video. Great breakdown of the basics.

Can’t wait for y’all to get out there this season.👊🏼

Good video. I’m thinking of transitioning from strap on stand to saddle. You helped me.

YES! Ive been looking at getting a saddle setup for this season, and I've been trying to piece together everything that I will need to buy. I'm kind of on a budget, so knowing what I need to start with will be awesome, and then I can add on later... Thanks so much for this video guys!

Outstanding video. I have been doing a bit of research and as you say it can be overwhelming. This video is very comprehensive and I appreciate that.

All good points. Good video Justin!

Good explanation of real needs versus comfort etc. I'm with you on your setup its hard to beat tetherd gear.👍

This is amazing info. I love the breakdown you give. You actually sold me on staying with my hang on stands because I don’t need to stay light weight and my stands don’t need to move a bunch. I wish I had a need to try it out because it looks so fun and gives a new wrinkle. I’m better off investing my money into what I’m used to.

Thank you for making this. Simple and straight to the point. Too many guys get cute making complicated videos. It ain’t rocket science. 👍🏻

Thanks best video i have seen yet cant wait to try out a saddle.

Great informative video Justin, this may be my year to try a saddle.

I'm fixing to turn 62 and will be trying this out through a friend who has one to see if I want to go out on that limb....lol Got my eye on the Cruzr Saddle simple because of the adjustability but before I shell out the claims I'm gonna try getting up the tree and hanging from it for awhile to see how it feels. Love the simplicity of your explanations on Each peice of the equipment vs what some Tell You You Must have to go hunting
