“I know there are faster cars, and there are better handling cars. But this just gives you such a connection, such a feeling.” That’s the secret sauce that is sadly missing in modern cars.
  • @charger19691
This car is seriously legendary. Mr. Shelby is smiling down on these gentlemen and the great Mustangs they build.
  • @bicyclist2
This is my kind of Mustang. I'd prefer this over any Corvette or Hemi. It's so good to see these old guys keeping the traditional alive. This is why I watch Jay Leno's garage, for content like this. The history and stories of Shelby is very interesting. Thank you.

What an unexpected thrill! So lucky that guys like this are inspired to build a beautiful car like that!! Thank you Jim and Ted....and thanks Jay for showing it on your channel....so cool!
  • This was Jay's calling, ''Jay Leno's Garage'' is infinitely more entertaining than The Tonight Show.
  • @nounclejesse
Wow. I worked for Jim almost forty years ago when I was in high school in a Cleveland suburb. I still remember him giving me a ride in his Sunbeam Tiger. Good seeing him again.

Thank you for putting these gentlemen and the history they represent on your channel, Jay. As the man said, you are "keeper of the flame" - a true steward of the cars you keep and bringing public awareness to gentlemen like these is a great service to the hobby.
  • That car is rolling perfection and history in motion. Every single element of it and it’s execution is perfect. For me it’s one of the best cars you’ve ever featured.
  • @cdlholder
Four speed and a 289. That beauty sounds like heaven
  • @DehinorVargas
No computer control, only horsepower, this is a real masterpiece!
  • Who wouldn't like to spend the afternoon with these two old timers and listen to their stories?
  • @EndeavorsDnB
Almost like having Shelby on the show himself, legendary! 💙
  • "He had really good looking secretaries" Jay immediately changes subject 🤣😂🤣
  • @gregmcable
Jesus, these guys followed their dream as kids, and ended up in the heart of something epic and real. Then they dared to recapture some of that magic now. Respect gentlemen and thanks.

"They got the tape player, all the modern things"
  • @rustyjeep2469
I just watched Jay’s video on the 2020 Shelby GT500. Amazing car, but I can honestly say this GT350 is the one I’d take. Can’t beat the sound of that small block Ford.
  • @joev6049
This guy said “long story short” twice and still told the long version of the story 😂😂 that made me laugh.
  • My friend bought a 64½ mustang in 6th grade. He took me to 140 mph on milk crates and only one door. I've always loved Mustangs because of Cody.
  • @TheFogLakeshore
This is the first car in a long time that really makes me wish I had more money. I can't imagine the opportunity to buy a continuation GT 350.
