I love the allagans but there is so much going on with them, this is a great way to set all the facts straight. +1 ancient sci-fi civilization.

This was a great watch, and now that you mention it, I would really have thought too that there'd be a lot of spoilers for the ShB, but... It's really limited what we get about the Allagans themselves. Even the musings during the Twinning are mostly just there for building a picture of the world that we'd never see. Great overview of the culture, and really lovely seeing more from you. :D

Awesome vid! Man, Xande was like a crystal exarch of darkness. Eorzea history is so epic. I hope they give us more info on the previous calamities

Kinda surprised that you didn't mention Emet-Selch or how the Ascians had a heavy involvement with Allag. It's been implied that Emet-Selch himself had a hand in the creation of the Allagan Empire in a cutscene with Varis. Tiamat reveals that the the Ascians also taught the means of binding primals to the Allagans prior to her summoning Bahamut. And in a cutscene in Stormblood, Zenos makes a comment that implies that Omega was the one to capture Bahamut in a manner similar to the one that holds Shinryu. There's a lot more lore scattered throughout the game, but I think your video was very comprehensive nonetheless.

It's funny that the most technologically advanced civilization is ruled by a burly dude who looks like a caveman.
