In this video, I go into detail, how to track down all sources for air leaks on a Newell.
The indispensable tool I use is the Amprobe ULD-405, available on Amazon:

Here are some high-quality DOT fittings on Amazon:
amzn.to/41KLv7A
amzn.to/41MgCzI
amzn.to/48HMvMg
amzn.to/3vp0GY7
I can always rely on McMaster to have them all though!

Thank you for taking the time to explain a little about the pneumatics on the coach, beautiful Newell there!

Another great video. Reminds me of what I need to be doing next weekend when the temps get super low.

Thanks Steve for a great video! I learn something new every time you post something up! Bought the Ampro off Amazon before I finished your video. It’s another “gotta have” tool that we need to keep these coach’s maintained!

One day Steve I’m going to put all your self help videos on my iPad your knowledge is so valuable ty and a very happy and healthy New Year

Had something similar when I was in Hazmat with Chicago Fire Department. Ours was so sensitive that we used to test ours by having a Firefighter stand out on the apron and have the other firefighter with the instrument at the back of the apparatus floor with a blindfold on and search for the firefighter spraying the can. Took a little time but found it.

Thank You. Very informative.

Thought I recognized that face! Hey Steve, Eric Fox here, looking good mister, I just stumbled across your page!

Outstanding!!

Steve, this was a really interesting video. I knew that Newell provides redundant air compressors and often wondered why. I suppose having hundreds of fittings means leaks that make that redundancy a requirement.

Happy New Year Steve!!! Hope you have a great one.

Great video Steve! I had a leak on my galley to bedroom air door that I luckily heard with just my ear… it was behind Newell’s cabinetry cover so your detector would have been very helpful. Happy new year!

Steve, always love your videos. We’re kicking the tires and doing research for a future purchase. Love the Newell and will probably settle there. Question: I have serious back issues that prevent me from doing most of my maintenance. Can I have a mechanic do a thorough search and replacement and how often should I do that? We plan to purchase a new or almost new coach. Thanks again and Happy New Year.

Very informative !! I wonder if Newell will replace the fittings when the coach is manufactured if they are asked ? Thank you !!!

Steve!! Happy New Year! Another great video. I had a big leak in the wastemaster system just the other day. I had to actuate the deploy/retract switch a few times to stop it. Now to find the culprit. Is it a flaky switch or a bad solenoid. Only the shadow knows.....

I have always dreamed of a Newell. In fact yesterday I was looking at a 2006. BUT I can't see why a 2 million dollar coach would use push on fittings which are known to leak. Makes my 2002 Beaver Marquis which holds air in the suspension two months before starting to lean look better all the time.A year ago I looked at a 2005 Newell that the compressor kicked on every 10 minutes. Is this normal for a Newell? Sorry to rant on Newell's BUT???

SHAME ON "NEWELL" AS MUCH AS THESE COACHS COST💸💸💸💸 WOW!!!
