Lombard Street is an east–west street in San Francisco, California, that is famous for a steep, one-block section with eight hairpin turns. The street stretches from The Presidio east to The Embarcadero. Most of Lombard Street's western segment is a major thoroughfare designated as part of U.S. Route 101

Do they honestly think people would be dumb enough to lease retail space? I feel like something else is most definitely going on here. They can't possibly think people would actually sign a lease for retail space after observing this systematic destruction of retail. This was purposeful systematic economic destruction, and at this point it literally cannot be denied.

I lived there for 65 years before leaving in 2018. I thought it had fallen then, but it has collapsed since. It is sad to watch.

I used to be a bike messenger in San Francisco for 6 years. I know every inch of that city. Moved out around 2006. Watching these videos is certainly a slap and a wake up call to what's happening.

In 2009 I left S.F. for the ranch and my friends thought I was crazy for thinking the city would become unlivable. Life is so good here, 30 miles from the nearest town. No carjacking, smash and grabs, knockout games, weirdos, etc. 1/4 mile of driveway before you even get to the gate. Good neighbors, peace and quiet, produce most of what I eat and Mother Nature is always entertaining.

It's sad because Lombard used to be a nice neighborhood. Convenient to the Marina District, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower. It was never a slum. But now they've ruined it.
