my gosh but Ali MacGraw is still stunningly beautiful!!!!!
  • I still remember sitting in the movie theatre and sobbing - along with a lot of other teenage girls in the audience. There is something about the music, film locations, and cast that really worked. Timeless story.

Ali has aged like a fine wine the silver looks stunning on her!
  • I have lived this story in my life, boy meets girl, they fall madly in love, girl dies. I held her hand as she took her last breath. 17 years later I'm still as in love with her as I was when she was alive. I'm still as devastated by her death too. She died of brain cancer which is why I use a gray ribbon as my icon.

To this day, that musical piece in the opening scene gets my heart beating faster.

I was a Junior in high school and was home with strep throat. That Valentine's day my Dad brought me a beautiful African Violet and a copy of Love Story. It made that week and day a very special memory.

The ending of this interview was so precious! I love that they are still connected as friends who care deeply for each other so many years later. That’s just beautiful💓

Love Story ....Jenny and Oliver...I love the scene when they are playing in the snow at Harvard. I can feel the love they had for each other. I have watched this movie more than 20x and I still cry as if it were the first time.
  • As the movie ended, my boyfriend turned to me with tears in his eyes and said "Promise me you'll never die." Huh?
  • How lucky we were to live in a time where love was more important than so many things that seem important today.

My parents went to see this movie when they were dating. Dad bought Mom a music box that plays the theme to Love Story. Ali MacGraw is still very attractive.

Ali is our fellow neighbor! Santa Fe is magical! She's graceful, kind, generous, stunning, and witty with a wonderful sense of humor! Love Story was epic! Indeed, a tear jerker! Impeccable taste, and stylish is an underscore!🎡

Ali had the look for that time. Straight long hair, snug hats, I loved it.
  • Ali Mcgraw is still stunning, such style, presence, wit. Love Story, the movie, the music, captured hearts and moved many to tears. My mom always wanted the vinyl movie soundtrack played. It seemed mushy then for a pre adolescent but I liked it, along with others we had, Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini, Morricone from my Dad's collection. Francis Lai scored a homerun for this one.
  • That book and movie had such an impact on my life. I'm glad they're still friends.

I was 11. I read the book and saw the movie twice. Cried my eyes out. My oldest sister made a hat like Ali wore back then. I have to say, Ali is still a beauty.
