    They really should have had something to show for when cancelling the PVE as we knew it. I know it was execs that made the decisions after continually pulling resources after the success of Diablo Immortal, but it would have softened the blow if they had a trailer of what to expect rather than a roadmap.

    They need to stop using the word expecting. Yes we were expecting it but we WANTED it anytime we want something they make sure to take it away after 3 years of nothing

    I think the key to being excited about overwatch is lowering your expectations beyond reason.

    Not enough since we already had Archives, now we're just getting them a bit more frequently. The new maps and game modes don't impress me from the 4 year gap since 2019's drought in content, it's just finally being released now.

    Just imagine if they shut down "Story Missions" or having us pay for it. That would be the actual END of Overwatch 2. Btw I know it's dying slowly rn but I am still not trusting anything they say after what they did for making PvE all those "years" of hard work.

    The amazing thing is despite all of their poor implementations in OW2, I have never heard of an instance where they did something that wasn't greedy. Like "you know what? we fucked up with pve, but we still believe in it, so we're going to give everyone the first episode for free" that would be something.

    I hope when Microsoft buys this company they fire everybody that makes decisions on Team 4. Every month this team just proves to be more and more incompetent, and they clearly have no idea what they're doing.

    Hero mastery missions seems like it might just be long overdue hero tutorials something like with Bob and weave gamemode that was in arcade when liveweaver released.

    loving all the post about how "PVE isnt dead, it's just not what we originally said" cause the Copium is unreal. It's' effectively dead to most people, player confidence is an all time low, and this is like being told your getting a new car, but actually its a rust bucket from 1970's cause its "new" to you.
