are you telling me the two main roles are not gonna fall in love with each other but they are gonna develop a beatiful friendship, i'm in.
-
I’m sorry but she’s the definition of “got straight A’s in high school and I didn’t even leave straight” love it.
-
A teenage romance that has no drinking, crazy parties, and sex but has friendship, acceptance, and character development??? man I wish there were more of these when I was a teenager.
-
What's even more enlightening... The trailer gives nothing away... Miss Alice Wu did an amazing job...
-
the plot basically: "Straight A student learns that maybe those A's aren't so straight after all"
-
People complains about trailer spoiling it Netflix: It’s just the half of it
-
Honestly, this is not just an lgbtq movie. Its just about pure love where gender does not matter. And that, that is GOLD.
-
Finally a movie where the non-straight characters actually have a personality other than their gender.
-
"not every love story is a romance" Wow that's kinda powerful
-
I searched for this director after seeing the comments. So Alice Wu got her computer science degree from Stanford, worked for Microsoft, and created her first movie during working. That is the most Asian thing I ever saw.
-
Idk why Ellie’s voice is so deep, it fits her personality, tough, always hide her feeling, hard to reach, She always looks like someone out of age
-
This movie is a masterpiece. I thought it was just a high school based rom com but it is so much more realistic and amazing than that. It touches so much ground and yet so subtly. I was falling in love with each and every character throughout!

This is what Sierra Burgess thought it was doing
-
other films: 17 year olds who look like 25 year olds this film: 17 year old who looks 17, but acts like a 25 year old
-
"Love's not finding your perfect half, it's trying, reaching and failing"
-
Why she didn’t get any nominations when Emily in Paris won a Golden Globe is ridiculous
-
"Not every love story is a romance." FINALLY SOMEONE IS FOCUSING ON NON ROMANTIC LOVE PLOTS
-
finally a seventeen year old who looks like a seventeen year old
-
This movie is a extremely well written and performed. Its filled with fun, emotions, complications. I love how movie shows a rainbow of internal emotions by cleverly using metaphors. Definitely one of the most deep meaning(s) kind of script presented with elegance and simplicity..

I was so touched at the end where they did a remake scene of a Indian movie " Ek villian " the last scene where she was leaving on a train and he chasing the train just like the movie .... I loved it ❤️
