  • Great picks! The Real Thing didn’t leave my vehicle in ‘89, love the title track. Take away the shit cover song from Ram It Down & you got a good album, my favourite is Blood Red Skies.
  • @stormwind_7996
Great response, Mike! I agree with that POISON selection, easily the best song on the album!
  • @LuchaLibertaria
Inner Self is my fave song from that Sepultura album. My pick: Motorhead - Orgasmatron . this is one of my fave Motorhead tunes of all time - it has it all: the anger, the defiance, the anti-establishment lyrics that compliment the music. Such a bad ass tune 🎸🎸🔥🔥

Good variety, and a surprise to see Marillion in there because so far it’s been all metal and hard rock in the videos I’ve watched. I had Mean Streak in my original selection, but I’ve mentioned that album twice this year so far, so I decided to pick something else. But it’s a great song!

Nice response Mike! I can remember Paul & me going to ‘Action Recs’ in Preston one weekend… back in the day… & coming home with ‘Beneath The Remains’ & ‘Slowly We Rot’! Good impression of ‘Malcolm McLaren’ btw, lol!🤘🏻
  • @albertampel4175
Cool response. I´m going to do one as well, I promised Thomas to only show OG pressings, hahaha... "Beneath..." and "Slowly..." came out on the same day in Europe, I remember buying both LPs and spinning them for weeks and months.
  • @stevesekora
haha, I almost picked that Poison cassette to show on my response as well, decided to keep it more extreme but the thought was there. Great response.
  • @MosherBear
Beneath the Remains is a classic album, as is The Real Thing. Template for the decade to follow. Also have a soft spot for Ram It Down, because it was my first Priest album. Confession time - I actually like the version of Johnny B Goode.
  • I like that Ignorance album sounds like a mash up of Red Hot Chilli Peppers,Faith No More, Suicidal Tendencies vibe..thanks for that!😁🙌
  • @BeardyRedViking
Nice response, Mike! There's a few here I don't know too well, or at all, but the ones I do are all absolutely superb albums and songs! I'd find it VERY difficult to pick a favourite from either Dirt or Beneath the Remains though, so fair play on those! Good to see you mate, as always. Cheers! 🤘
  • @HaakonOdinsson
Y&T Meanstreak, definitely my fave t rack on the “Meanstreak” album
  • @GRockVC
Great response there Mike. Good shout with Poison and Faith no more, two excellent songs that are the standouts for me on those albums. Ram it down is ace. Nice to see some Y&T as well.
  • @seanbeast939
Quality response, sir. It's an interesting thread started by Thomas that has me reaching for the collection 👍
  • @tainted_lord87
Awesome response to Thomas's thread, Mike! Good to see Judas Priest, Sepultura and Exodus. Faith No More's The Real Thing is pretty overlooked album bit it's definitely a good one.
  • Great idea Mickey I think I might do a response for this. I found that Ignorance on cassette awhile ago and wish I would have picked it up.
  • @ed_lackenbucher
Great choices Mike!! Marillion, absolutely love that album, fantastic!! Yes Fish era for me too. Ignorance, that’s a new one on me… I have that Sepultura on OG vinyl, time to pull that out I think. Judas Priest, I saw them on the Ram It Down tour, I actually like the album quite well, just saw them again on the 4th in Southern Michigan

Alice Cooper - From the Inside Deep Purple - Burn Eagles - Hotel California Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast Judas Priest - Firepower Kiss - Lick it Up Kansas - Point of Know Return Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon Savatage - Gutter Ballet Vandenberg - Alibi And yeah, Ram it Down is much better than its reputation would suggest, although I didn't care for it when it came out. I even liked Johnny B Goode.
  • Hi Mike!! great response to Thomas challenge.... i think you're right about Ram it Down. Y&T has to be one of the most uunderrated bands from the US 80's hardrock scene and Meniketti too. Nice FNM choice, back in the day i also played that cd a lot and "Surprise, You're Death" is also one of my favorite. Keep hearing good things about Vain, time to give it a try.... cheers
  • @MB-oc1nw
That Vein record is good, I never hear of them when that came out....only heard it a few years ago. They flew under the radar
  • Some great choices here mate 🤘I own a few of them but I have some other favourite tracks other than the titles. Heavy Metal is my favourite on Ram it Down, the intro gets me every time 🤘😝🤘
