  • Nothing more convincing than the tabletop-crushing test! Thanks for the reassurance!

Sharon, just found tiny individual lights that are called balloon lights on Amazon. They might be perfect for this idea of yours and many more to come. I so appreciate you sharing your creative products with us. They are so well done. Thank you!!!
  • Just a tip..... If anyone is truly worried about air exposure using nail polish, you can always use uv resin or even regular epoxy resin to seal them with.
  • Thank you for the follow up. Really looking forward to your upcoming vids.

These are stunning! So stunning in fact that you've inspired me to make one 😁 Mine is currently in front of the fan drying... I would have followed you step by step but I currently have different materials to hand. I decided to cut a juice bottle in half and lined it with foam. Then i've covered the whole thing with tissue and glue. Then I sellotaped led lights all around the inside and put the wire so it comes out at the top and over the back where I secure it properly with the tissue and glue. I also used sellotape to hold it in place so that it would be in a straight line. I intend for the whole thing to be hidden when I texture the back. I'm using cut up glue sticks and crafting gems and glitter when the inside is ready to be done. I hope it turns out nice in the end. If it looks even half as good as yours i'll be happy. Also after doing a bit of research i've found out about ADP and MAP. Both are found in fertilizers and if mixed until clear with boiling water can produce crystals. Very big ones if you transfer them from their seed crystals into larger containers. That might also be something to consider when making these if you wanna be a bit extra. I found a 1kg bag of it for £15 on Amazon. Anyways thanks for uploading these vids. I love all your stuff!! 💜

Selenite towers are technically a salt too. But as long as you don't drop them in water, they won't melt. So even if these mini crystals and salt lamps weren't sealed, they wouldn't melt under normal conditions in your home.
  • Bu 'melt" do they mean will it dissolve if it gets wet? It is salt after all. But yes it's sealed. When i made a ring out of Copper, in order to keep it shiny and not turn my fingers green, i coated it with clear nail polish. Still good decades later

I'm not worried about heat as much as I am humidity. I'm in Southwest Florida which sometimes seems to be the capital of humidity. So even with that covering how are they in the humidity? I've used the E6000 to fix my shoes and it does not last very long at all because of the humidity.

I don't know about melting, but I do know from sad experience that any kind of salt in a dollhouse is, over time, going to tarnish and corrode any metal and silver plate in the dollhouse.

Salt doesn’t melt until 801C or 1474F, you’re gonna need to work at it to melt salt.
