Destiny 2 | SOLO EXOTIC PUZZLE! How to Get The Imperious Sun Shell EASILY (Witch Queen)

Figured I'd post this for anybody else who wants to pick up the ghost :P Hope the tips help out!

This is a step in the right direction. We need more solo content.

You can reset the puzzle for more Lore books by simply exiting the mission and starting over, no need to complete it every time. =)

There’s a bug with it atm, the symbols in the symbol room don’t register for some reason, no matter how many resets or restarts. And I’ve noticed a lot of people have the same problem on forums I’ve searched. I don’t even think Bungie are aware, but hopefully there’s a hot fix next by reset.

PSA: The puzzle part doesn't work for solo or team in mission anymore 😟Now it requires a team in the raid.

You don't have to finish the mission everytime just once to interact with the small squares located around map after killing bosses. The puzzles can be completed after completing puzzles restart mission from that point 5 more times. And that's it.

You can start the encounter and wipe then go back. You don't need to exit. Also, you don't have to melee them, you walk into them.

Tried a bunch of different info on getting those books from the puzzle room yesterday. Going to try this out tonight and get that shell 🤞

There's a much easier way. When you look at the puzzle wall in that room, you only need to pay attention to the only two bottom middle ones. Whatever symbols they are, first activate the right one and melee the left. That's it. Each single activation and melee gives a lore book. The reset part is the same tho. Start the encounter then wipe. I'll try to show them here: X X X X X X X X X L R X Activate the R and melee the L. Projectile melees don't work so get rid of it before meleeing. Edit: apparently Glaives also work for the melee part. Update as March 27th: This might've been patched with the new update.
