Detailed Tour: Delta's FIRST Boeing 767 At The Delta Flight Museum

Published 2023-11-26
In this video we will explore Delta Airlines FIRST Boeing 767. A 767-200 acquired by Delta employees in Spring of 1963 after Delta faced hard times during a weak economy, deregulation and more. This INCREDIBLE AIRCRAFT is open to walk around in and is the third and final video out of three from my recent visit to The Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta Georgia!!!

@Delta is a GREAT airline & I have flown with Delta many times in the past but I've never visited their museum The Delta Flight Museum! It promises to be an Awesome video as this is one of The Best Aviation Museums in the United States! Also if you like this video make sure to like it & comment, also this video is number 3 of 3, this video The FIRST Delta 767-200 "The Spirit of Delta" as I didn’t have time to go into these incredible aircraft's full histories in the Guided Tour Museum video!
Also, my ticket to the *Delta Flight Museum
cost me $15.00* for the one day I visited…

Sorry about the music tracks overtaking the audio a bit… 😬 I’m still learning this new system.. Thanks for your understanding. 😁

Nice video. I wouldn't exactly say Song was a failure. I used to work a lot of Song flights when I was a gate agent at LGA during that time. Song was kinda a "test" for Delta. It was to mostly compete with the then-new Jetblue. In the end, they took what worked at Song, like the IFE screens, buy-onboard meal programs, and more point-to-point leisure routes, and brought it back to the Delta brand. In that regard Song was super important for Delta as it helped to shape the DL we know today :) It was a great company to wok for. Many great memories. Also, I remember many, many interactions with Ship 102 ♥

Wow for the Museum B767-232 if it can fly the airline has plenty of GE CF6 parts ranging from the 1980s all the way to 2016 when the A330-302E entered service.
  • No Flight Engineer on the B767. I have flown as Captain that very airplane numerous times
