Red bellied Woodpecker. I have them at Mt feeders. Lovevthem. I hate Starlings!!

We have a couple of Woodpeckers on our property. For some odd reason they will peck at our chimney cap. I noticed when they use the bird feeder, they perch on the side of it.

The video shows how invasive species like the starling drive off and replace the native birds. There is nothing menacing about it, just sheer numbers. You can see the wood pecker is annoyed by a few birds. Eventually there will be so many of them, the woodpecker will be annoyed all day every day, and after a while just gives up and leaves the area.
