“I only made a joke about it because it scares me” felt that
  • I'm a school shooting survivor and I found it so sweet how the one girl at the start asked if it was okay to laugh. Thats important to ask because the survivor might get the wrong message etc.

What’s incredibly sad is that it’s not only schools… you can be at a super market, church, anywhere really and it can happen in seconds
  • @serenity-cn2bh
for a second i thought the title said “kids meet a school shooter”
  • @Alex-ym5nm
It's sad that our society has gotten to the point where kids are afraid to go to school
  • I was at a mall, and two guys started fighting then started shooting. It is the scariest thing to ever experience, all I could do is think of my son because he was with me (he's 3), I will thank God everyday for keeping us safe and for my best friend being with us because he got us to safety within seconds. We were out of the parking lot as the cops were driving up. We had no time to process anything until we left, I of course had a mental breakdown. Everyone stay safe, and God bless!!
  • Being a student at Virginia Tech right now, this is still something that is discussed. Every year on April 16th a 3.2-mile run in remembrance to remember the 32 victims who died that dreadful day. It's horrible that this had to happen. But I am glad that we are stronger as a Virginia Tech Community. We are Virginia Tech and we are Hokies and hokies look out for each other.
  • I love that the school assumes that I won’t break the window and jump out
  • "we're supposed to throw our things at the shooter" kids with metal water bottles : oh we'll be fine...

Here after the Uvalde school shooting that just occurred, and It's truly sad to hear these kids talk about what their school has done to prepare them for it. When I was a kid the most drills we did were for tornados or huge storms, and kids now a days have to worry about having lockdowns because of a person who chose to end other lives for no reason is truly terrifying to me.
  • STORYTIME: So when I was in school, my school went on lockdown. It was halloween, and we were about to say scary stories. Then we heard the alarm. We shared a class with another class, so we opened the door and went in. I didn't know what had happened. When we went to lunch, we all sat in one side away from the outside door. There were 3 teachers blocking the door with bats in their hands. Apparently, there was a threat in the high school next to us

"So are you telling her not to listen to her teacher?" Uh, yeah! She's a school shooting survivor who got shot TWICE! Listen to her advice!!!!
  • @amelie4155
can we appreciate the girl at the beginning asking if it was okay to laugh like that is the sweetest thing and incredibly respectful to her
  • @CheddarCheese5
Respect for the teacher and student who tried to stop him
  • @nicolebragg1171
"Have you ever heard 'Oh, that'll never happen here'?" "Yes." "Do you believe that?" "No."
  • @Pasuteru.
"We throw our school supplies at them" Me picturing myself crying, having anxiety, and throwing my chair and desk at them
  • @JC.-.999
Here after the Uvalde elementary shooting in Texas. 😔 And the Worst thing is that it probably won’t be the last time something like this happens again.
  • @lanamay0516
I love how she talks and explains to the children. She is calm and detailed. I felt she really knew how to handle each kid and how to tell them about the tragedy that happened to her!
