I love how you could easily tell this was Seo Hyun-Seung directing. He has such a distinct style especially when it comes to set design and use of colour. I love his style and I always appreciate how much of a focus he puts into capturing stuff in camera. Watching the behinds for his music videos is always wild.

Today i understand that YG has his own unique signature and they strive to preserve it. They have no intention of copy his own groups they want to mantain his distinct style. YG once said: we want that when someone listen our songs they think "oh its so YG" they want to preserved their brand through generations. Ain't no way YG would do the same cute sweet girl concept these other kpop groups are doing, im thankful for that, we need some noise in kpop. Many knew YG's style through Blackpink, but all YG groups have used the same musical style since 2006 (2ne1-Big bang) because they consider it their brand. They create music for concerts and for the public that consumes their music not to monopolizes the whole industry

AHYEON, RAMI and RORA are my favorite members in BABYMONSTER. Their voices are amazing.

I def agree with you Jordan! It does sound different from the usual YG style. I mean didn't change completely but like there were still some changes and wow. Hopefully they do this to BP as well so that their songs doesn't sound the same!

i like them really, as in super. i was so devastated when Ahyeon didn't make it on their debut. but finally they are complete 7 as they should. one thing i noticed is that the pre-chorus 'kinda' 'sounds familiar' with love to hate me by BP

Brah really said that he's slow when seeing that it's babymon for all 7 members but tbh...he's the only one who i've seen reacting to this mv who has mentioned it for the first time...and it just blew my mind because I didn't even think about it at all until he mentioned it. Instant mind blown.
