I swear my guy used to do the same when I'd come home from walking shelter dogs. I'd tell him I have to share love with those who aren't as lucky as him

When I started working at a vet clinic I to came home of smelling like other dog, and cats I got the same treatment from my cat for a week. I told her over and over and over again “it’s my job they mean nothing to me”. Went on for a week but now she’s use to it.

My dog doesn’t care if she smells other dogs on me. I’ll come home, she’ll be hopping around happy to see me, smell the other dog, and just go right back to hopping around and happy.

I've faced the same curious sniffing n sulks and annoyancr when I've patted or cuddled another dog n returned home.. And the " total ignore and face turned the other way" tactics after giving a scolding. My dog deserved a medal for a marvellous display of sulks and putting me in the freezer at times!😂
