The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental Arab technique (or traditional cazaq singing, called Joqtaw), is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist: Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio. The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

Elizabeth: "This is really cool; I hope he does more." Dimash: OK.

To y'all complaining about the pausing and wanting to listen without interruption: Ever considered just going to watch the original video, which Elisabeth ALWAYS links in the description? Is that so hard? I for one am here exactly because she's pausing and giving commentary within the concrete context.
  • @32a34a
I could listen to him do that Middle Eastern or Kazakh style of vocalisation all day.

Hello there, Mrs. Zharoff My name is Alan, i am a 20-year old student from Kyrgyzstan. I am here to ask your permission to use your video, translate it into russian language and reupload it on my channel. Link to your video will be left in the description. I will use only Dimash reactions! Dimash Dears are asking me to translate reaction videos, because most of them are in English and they want to know what you guys are talking about. I myself do reactions in two languages at the same time. With kind regards, Alan

Dimash does not use styles of music. He makes the arrangement he thinks he needs. The next generations of singers will learn from his songs.
  • @TheBaumcm
His vocal athletics almost made me pass out on my couch. How is he not even a little out of breath.

One of the things I like almost as much as listening to Dimash is watching professionals react to him. The pure joy he brings out brightens my day, every time.
  • @Rosannasfriend
The way you're acting when he's doing his head voice, you are not prepared for what's next!
  • @wraiyth4867
I only just discovered Dimash yesterday and have been on a deep dive over the last 24 hours listening to all I could find. Absolutely had to see if you'd done an analysis after hearing this one and how amazing it is 😂😍
  • @stoneshack2000

  • @kameronpugh962
What drives my obsession with this channel is the attention you give to some of these artists' character. The way you analyze his eye contact and posture at the end of the performance and relate it to his courtesy toward the band... As much as I would give anything to get your insight into music, I would give even more listen to you talk empathy and philosophy. You seem to just immediately assume the best in everyone in a world where so many people want to imagine the worst. We need more of this!
  • @davidricks7128
Love how excited you get when you hear Dimash and others sing makes me smile every time as I know your enjoying it and are happy x if you see the end of the full video he makes a speech and it show just how humble he is x loved your reaction as always stay safe
  • @zackmeisterjie
i can't be alone here right? her reaction and demeanor, they way she smile and move her eyebrow looks alot like emilia clarke. apart from that i always enjoy how everyone is amazed at his vocal ability at sinful passion especially at the end part, amazing!! also it cracks me up every time i see the guitar player with a confused face.
  • Dimash must be an alien! None other on this planet! You such a cool reacting these and analyzing!
