Stanton Space Barn - A First Look

Published 2013-07-21
Welcome to a very first, very early, look at The Stanton Space Barn.

The Stanton Space Barn, or the SSB as the locals like to call it, is a privately owned orbital shipyard in the Stanton system where pilots of all skills, backgrounds, and walks of life come together to tinker on their craft and swap stories and tips.

The Stanton Space Barn has only two rules:
Rule #1: The SSB is neutral ground. The SBB is a place for all pilots to mingle and tinker.
Rule #2: Treat the dock, bays, and tools as if they were your own.

This video is a VERY VERY early look at and EARLY prototype of the website, which will be opened to the public coming up soon. Here we see the basic functionality allowing you to customize items in the ship's hardpoints. The video shows customization with the 300i, but the website of course supports all ships and currently has basic data and functionality for the Aurora, 300i, and Constellation.

The SSB is built on an extremely flexible back end design so that as more information on ships and how customization will work, the site will keep up to date.
